James Maddison was sorely missed as Leicester blew their hopes of playing in the Champions League next season in a race that went down to the final matchday of the Premier League.
Maddison had to undergo surgery after sustaining a back injury during training back in June as the Foxes star missed the end of the season for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
The deal will see him go just shy of the top earner Jamie Vardy at the King Power stadium with a reported salary of £100,000 per week.
As of now, James Maddison has been chilling out in Ibiza with the likes of Dele Alli and Jack Grealish in a shortened summer vacation before they head back to prepare for the upcoming Premier League season.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who is known to be frequently involved in some rather problematic escapades outside the pitch, decided to come up with the goods yet again as footage (now deleted) featuring Maddison completely sloshed during his holidays popped up online.
The player can be seen quite befuddled as he attempts to kiss his girlfriend Sophie Kenyon while shooting a video for his official Instagram account.
His girlfriend rejected the attempt from Maddison, leaving the Premier League fans on the internet cracking up over the incident.
