Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg continues to impress for Tottenham Hotspur with another solid performance in the North London Derby last night.
Tottenham Hotspur earned the bragging rights but more importantly, kept their place at the top of the Premier League table with a convincing 2-0 win against bitter rivals Arsenal.
Son Heung-min curled one past Bernd Leno from long range to shock the visitors early and then provided the assist for Harry Kane’s thumping goal from close range before half time.
It was a complete team performance from Spurs with new signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg being the engine of the team.
The Danish international covered the most ground of any Spurs player in an all-action performance against the Gunners.
Hojbjerg is slowly becoming a cult figure among the Lilywhites’ fanbase and his reaction to a clearance from Ben Davies shows why.
The former Southampton man was seen wildly celebrating the clearance like it was a goal for Spurs.
Needless to say Tottenham fans absolutely loved the passion on display, check out the clip below –

He’s been such a good signing for us, not the biggest name or fee but a key clog in Mourinho’s side.
The CDM we’ve been craving for years. He was immense yesterday. 👏🏻 https://t.co/w3wUSk4ufF
Is it me or is this becoming PEH’s “team” real quick? Wouldn’t be surprised to see Jose give him the arm band at some point this season or next https://t.co/DxEdP3mLEs

I think Højbjerg might be my favourite Premier League player right now. You just know he’s writing a full-blown report after every training session. Man’s obsessive about winning, Mourinho must absolutely love him https://t.co/vxGA7MeotZ

The man is a born winner, a model professional and a player every team needs if they want to be successful https://t.co/JIqyxWkeUH

The player that does all the dirty jobs on the pitch. Has one CL medal at home. We sleep on him because he played for Southampton https://t.co/DHVy0ILuZZ

I may be wrong, but I actually thought at the time he was angry because Gabriel dribbled past him. Phenomenal mentality either way. https://t.co/o82F4kDOzK
