William Gallas calls out Dier and Sanchez for their role in Fulham’s goal

William Gallas followed his old boss Jose Mourinho in blaming the center-back duo of Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez for costing Spurs two valuable points after a 1-1 draw against Fulham.

The French defender, who still remains the only player to have played for Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, took to Instagram after the game and uploaded a story which included the footage of the sequence of play which led to Fulham’s goal along with the caption – “Tottenham central defenders you must defend better than that.”

The Spurs center-back duo will know that they were in the wrong before Fulham’s equaliser when a player of Gallas’ stature gives a negative review of their actions.

Gallas was part of the ridiculous Chelsea side under Jose Mourinho which conceded just 15 goals in the 2004/05 season.

Mourinho blasts Dier and Sanchez

Spurs took the lead after a brilliantly taken diving header from Harry Kane in the 25th minute but were also at fault for letting Fulham come into the game before conceding a 74th minute equaliser after Ivan Cavaleiro found the back of Lloris’ net from an Ademola Lookman cross.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho did not mince his words while speaking about his defenders performances in the aftermath of the stalemate against Fulham.

The Portuguese aimed swipe at Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez while speaking to the press at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium as he said – “there are some things that have to do with the organisation of the team but other things they have to do with individual skills, individual ability. It’s as simple as that.”

Tottenham have now won only one match in their last six league matches find themselves in the 6th spot in the points table.
