Thursday night football between Arsenal & Crystal Palace turned out to be a drab 0-0 affair as James Tomkins and Hector Bellerin’s strikes in either side of half-time were the only moment both the teams went close to scoring a goal.
Safe to say, perhaps the only exciting part of the match might have been the choice of song played as the players walked out on the pitch for the second half.
DJ Selenky, who works as the PA announcer and DJ at the Emirates Stadium, is a massive WWE fan and it shows in the music that gets played in the stadium as the players come out of the tunnel.
Many fans noticed and were pleasantly surprised as Arsenal came out for the second half of their goalless draw with Crystal Palace to Kurt Angle’s theme music.
Huge fan of Arsenal coming out for the second half to Kurt Angle’s theme tune.

It’s not the first time that a WWE theme song was used during an Arsenal game as Triple H’s iconic entrance song, The Game by Motorhead, was heard blaring across the stadium back in July in the match against Liverpool.
The ‘medal’ song employed by Kurt Angle usually gets met with the chants of “you suck” from WWE fans and the Olympic gold medalist just couldn’t help but notice the absence of the same when he responded on Twitter –
Arsenal using my theme song. The only thing missing, due to COVID, is 30,000 fans chanting “You Suck”. #YouSuckCovid #itstrue https://t.co/VQncpBsoin
