Have you heard of our boy wonder?- Mino Raiola sparks bidding war for Erling Haaland

One of the most enticing subplots of the upcoming summer transfer window is a certain Erling Braut Haaland’s potential destination. The Norwegian is reportedly in hot demand across the continent, as several top clubs in Europe look to secure his signature after his incredible goal-scoring exploits in the past couple of seasons.

Haaland broke out into the global scene for the first time during his time at RB Salzburg, but he truly came into his own after joining Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.

Haaland has scored 49 goals in 49 appearances since joining Dortmund and also became the fastest and the youngest player to reach 20 goals in the Champions League this season.

As a result of his extraordinary numbers, European clubs of the very highest level have made him an essential feature in their transfer plans for the upcoming summer – showing a lot of interest in Haaland despite the substantial price tag put on him.

Super agent Mino Raiola seems to have his work cut out though, as he has been reported to have started on a full-fledged auction trip for the Norwegian forward already.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Raiola along with Haaland’s father Alfie held conversations with reinstated Barcelona president Joan Laporta today, only a few hours before both of them were reported to be in the Spanish capital –trying to weigh up a deal with Real Madrid.

Discussions with four more interested clubs’ representatives reportedly await, as they would try to pitch their project and proposals to the agent and the player’s father. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund remains unchanged in their position – they would not accept less than €150m to sell him this summer.

Raiola’s dedicated plan to find the most suitable destination for his client has sparked a meme fest on Twitter, here are some of the choicest reactions –
