Dele Alli scored the second goal of the night for Spurs in a brilliant manner after Harry Kane displayed his passing range to find his fellow Englishman.

Fans were quick to notice the passionate celebration from the Belgian in the aftermath of the goal and calls to renew his contract were sounded again.

Toby was the foundation of Spurs’ tremendous win last night and showed how badly he was missed in the 4-2 defeat against Arsenal few days ago.

Manchester United fans online are not exactly loving star player Paul Pogba’s conduct on social media after the club officially announced the sacking of Jose Mourinho earlier today.

The Frenchman took to Twitter with a post tagged ‘caption this’ along with a photo of himself that could look like taking shots at the Portuguese.

Both Mourinho and Pogba have shared a tumultuous relationship at Manchester United and things look to have gone worse between the two as the now-sacked manager left the Frenchman on the bench for the match against their bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday

Things got worse for Manchester United after the English giants suffered at brutal defeat at the hands of their most hated rivals in Liverpool last night.

It was a bloodbath for Jose Mourinho’s side at Anfield as the Reds ended the match with 36 attempts on goals compared to the just 6 from Manchester United.

Substitute Xherdan Shaqiri turned the game on its head with two fine, albeit deflected, goals in the second half.

Liverpool were a menace throughout the game and this clip of Roberto Firmino taking 5 Man United players for a ride before having a pop at the goal just sums up Liverpool’s domination on the night.

Liverpool made sure that they ended the weekend at the top of the table ahead of Manchester City after defeating bitter rivals Manchester United 3-1 at Anfield on Sunday.

The Merseyside club were at their ferocious best and hounded their counterparts throughout the 90 minutes.

A moment which took place during a United freekick in the first half just summed up the attitude with which the Liverpool players went on in the game.

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was in the defensive line as United prepared to take the freekick and quite cheekily managed to push Romelu Lukaku out of position when the ball was hit. The Belgian was deemed to be offside by the linesman as a result.

Many fans were in disbelief as to how the tiny Sadio Mane was able to shove Lukaku out of position so easily.

Things got embarrassing for Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur during Manchester United’s brilliant comeback win in the UEFA Champions League last night.

Anthony Martial looked like a man possessed during the latter stages of the game as Juventus led 1-0 and it appears the Frenchman was especially brutal towards Bentancur, who lost his footing while chasing the Man United forward.

Juan Mata and an Alex Sandro own goal provided Jose Mourinho’s men with an unlikely win after Cristiano Ronaldo scored the only goal of the match for the home side

Sadio Mane struck twice on Saturday to help Liverpool win 4-1 against Cardiff City at Anfield but it was Mo Salah who started the rout for the home side in the 10th minute.

Anfield was buzzing after the goal and it seems one of the stewards got a bit excited as well with the scenes around him.

Liverpool went on to score 3 more goals with new boy Xherdan Shaqiri getting on the scoresheet as well.

Gerrard interrupted the 21-year-old from replying and took it upon himself to answer the question in his own majestic way.

Judging by the gaffer’s comments, it seems the players have suffered a serious bollocking after recent performances and have been clearly warned if they don’t step up and deliver there will be someone who would be stepping in their place.

Not the best of results for Arsenal yesterday as Unai Emery’s men succumbed to a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last night.

Mesut Ozil, who played like an absolute superstar during the 3-1 win against Leicester City last weekend, was subbed off in the 67th minute and the German threw a little tantrum while taking his place in the bench.

Ozil has often being accused of showing no passion and may sometimes give the feeling that he doesn’t really care but his reaction after being subbed off yesterday shows that the German is all about the Arsenal life.

New boy Kepa, who was put under pressure early in the match, was rarely required as the match progressed but delivered perfectly when the moment came.

The Spaniard pulled off a majestic pass to keep possession and it certainly was one of the highlights of the game.

Every Chelsea fan was quite pleasantly surprised when the club announced former player Gianfranco Zola had returned to Stamford Bridge in his new role as assistant to new manager Maurizio Sarri back in July.

And it seems it was not only the Chelsea fans but Zola himself was quite surprised as the former striker revealed what he thought after Maurizio Sarri called to join him at Chelsea during his bit with SoccerAM.

One of the greatest to ever wear a Blue shirt, Zola admitted he thought it was a prank call at first.
