Manchester United fans online are not exactly loving star player Paul Pogba’s conduct on social media after the club officially announced the sacking of Jose Mourinho earlier today.
The Frenchman took to Twitter with a post tagged ‘caption this’ along with a photo of himself that could look like taking shots at the Portuguese.
Both Mourinho and Pogba have shared a tumultuous relationship at Manchester United and things look to have gone worse between the two as the now-sacked manager left the Frenchman on the bench for the match against their bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday
Could also be just a bad timing from his PR team. Check out a screenshot of the now-deleted tweet below –
Liverpool made sure that they ended the weekend at the top of the table ahead of Manchester City after defeating bitter rivals Manchester United 3-1 at Anfield on Sunday.
The Merseyside club were at their ferocious best and hounded their counterparts throughout the 90 minutes.
A moment which took place during a United freekick in the first half just summed up the attitude with which the Liverpool players went on in the game.
Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was in the defensive line as United prepared to take the freekick and quite cheekily managed to push Romelu Lukaku out of position when the ball was hit. The Belgian was deemed to be offside by the linesman as a result.
Many fans were in disbelief as to how the tiny Sadio Mane was able to shove Lukaku out of position so easily.
Definitely hilarious if you are a Liverpool fan, check out the tactics from Sadio Mane below –

Things got embarrassing for Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur during Manchester United’s brilliant comeback win in the UEFA Champions League last night.
Anthony Martial looked like a man possessed during the latter stages of the game as Juventus led 1-0 and it appears the Frenchman was especially brutal towards Bentancur, who lost his footing while chasing the Man United forward.
Juan Mata and an Alex Sandro own goal provided Jose Mourinho’s men with an unlikely win after Cristiano Ronaldo scored the only goal of the match for the home side
Things went down during the press conference before Rangers’s clash against Kilmarnock tomorrow after a journo asked Jordan Rossiter a question about Steven Gerrard’s comments on finding the right players for the job if the current players are not performing.
Gerrard interrupted the 21-year-old from replying and took it upon himself to answer the question in his own majestic way.
Judging by the gaffer’s comments, it seems the players have suffered a serious bollocking after recent performances and have been clearly warned if they don’t step up and deliver there will be someone who would be stepping in their place.
Shape up or ship out seems to be message from the gaffer, check out the moment from the presser below –
Not the best of results for Arsenal yesterday as Unai Emery’s men succumbed to a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last night.
Mesut Ozil, who played like an absolute superstar during the 3-1 win against Leicester City last weekend, was subbed off in the 67th minute and the German threw a little tantrum while taking his place in the bench.
Ozil has often being accused of showing no passion and may sometimes give the feeling that he doesn’t really care but his reaction after being subbed off yesterday shows that the German is all about the Arsenal life.
Ozil was subpar during the game and was clearly frustrated for not being able to make up for it. Check out the reaction from Ozil below –
Every Chelsea fan was quite pleasantly surprised when the club announced former player Gianfranco Zola had returned to Stamford Bridge in his new role as assistant to new manager Maurizio Sarri back in July.
And it seems it was not only the Chelsea fans but Zola himself was quite surprised as the former striker revealed what he thought after Maurizio Sarri called to join him at Chelsea during his bit with SoccerAM.
One of the greatest to ever wear a Blue shirt, Zola admitted he thought it was a prank call at first.
