Ayling: what do you think of my outfit?
Anita: you look like a tramp.
Ayling: really? Do you think I’ll get stick from the lads?
Anita: don’t worry mate I’ll wear something to take the heat off you.#sidebeforeself#akaw
Although it was Alexis Sanchez who won them the game, Gooners were full of praise for the returning Jack Wilshere.
After coming on to replace Alex Iwobi, the England star put in an impressive cameo in the absence of star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
His return to the team after a lengthy spell on the sidelines impressed not only the fans though, with teammates also taking to Instagram to appreciate the Englishman.
Following the game the midfielder uploaded a photo of him presenting his jersey to a fan on Instagram and the picture clearly depicted the hard work Wilshere has been putting in during his time off of the pitch.
Impressed by the Wilshere’s cracking physique, teammate and man of the match against the Clarets, Shkodran Mustafi left a comment on the post to show his appreciation for the midfielder’s efforts.
Since moving to the club Pontus Jansson’s tackles have been cheered like 30-yard screamers, with the Swede wooing Leeds fans over with his no-nonsense style of defending right from his first game on English shores.
Initially signed on loan from Serie A club Torino, the Swede was a regular in the lineup under Garry Monk last season but has found it hard to cement his position under Thomas Christiansen this season.
Slowly making a comeback into the lineup, Pontus was again impressive during the 2-0 victory over Barnsley on the weekend, with one particular tackle that managed to impress Leeds fans the most.
Already on a yellow Jansson showed unbelievable bravery and desire to swoop the ball from under the feet of Barnsley attacker Brad Potts just as he was making a move towards the Leeds goal.
Check out the cracking sliding tackle from Pontus below –
It’s safe to say Liverpool new signing Mohamed Salah has been a bit sensational this year.
The Egyptian almost single-handedly guided his national side to qualify for the World Cup in Russia next year and has carried his stellar form for Liverpool as well, with him currently on top of goalscoring charts in England with 10 goals.
The light-footed winger was at it again yesterday, finishing off a wonderful move to score against his former employers.
Although his lack of celebration against the Blues as a tribute to Egyptian terror victims disappointed Reds fans, his reaction to Chelsea’s equaliser clearly showed where his allegiances lie.
The winger was absolutely gutted when Willian’s cross/shot went over Mignolet and into the Liverpool goal.
Liverpool fans have been delighted with the attacker’s form so far this season and his latest show of commitment will certainly endear him to the Kop even more.
Following their second defeat in the space of six days, Rangers are falling well short of mounting any sort of challenge against their historical rivals and reigning Scottish champions Celtic, who sit 9 points clear on top of the table.
Following their return to the Scottish top flight this season, many fans expected Rangers to be serious challengers but the Ibrox club have been disappointing so far.
With the clubs decision to part ways with with Pedro Caixinha not seeing any improvement in their fortunes, caretaker manager Graeme Murty has come under fire in recent weeks.
Murty seemed very disturbed during the post match interview following the frustrating defeat to Dundee yesterday and said the club do not have any excuses to justify their poor form.
Barely able to contain his disappointment the former defender seemed on the brink of tears while answering the interviewers questions.
Witnessing Murty almost in tears sums up our club. Shambles from top to bottom. Change is needed. Murty doesn't deserve to be in the position he is in, the poor guy doesn't deserve this at all.
Rangers fans looked distraught after seeing their interim managers reaction on Twitter and will be hoping their players respond to their manager’s cries when they play second placed Aberdeen next Sunday.
West Ham fans have not exactly been over the moon since the Hammers re-located to the London stadium in 2016.
Frustrated by their club’s lack of ambition in recent seasons, West Ham fans made their thoughts about club owners known in a less than subtle rant recently.
With tensions on the brink of tipping point, West Ham players produced the sort of performance their fans had been deprived off, to give David Moyes his first point as Hammers boss last night.
The Hammers showed unbelievable spirit to get back into the game after falling behind early due to a Marc Albrighton header.
With Leicester on the front foot following their goal, it looked to be another frustrating evening for the Hammers until Cheikhou Kouyate’s fortunate goal just before the break sparked the sort of energy rarely seen in recent times.
With the fans fully behind the players, West Ham looked unlike their usual bleak selves and were unlucky not to come away with all three points.
After witnessing a much improved performance and re-igniting the clubs support, David Moyes will be hoping that the result is the start of something new as he looks to salvage West Hams season.

Celtic fans were delighted as one of their own players inflicted misery upon bitter rivals Rangers yesterday.
With Rangers looking for the win against Dundee which would have take them within six points of the Hoops in the championship, it was Celtic loanee Scott Allan’s brilliant vision that denied them the chance to do so.
With the game poised at 1-1, the 25-year-old showed brilliant composure under pressure to find teammate Mark O’Hara, who coolly slotted the ball into the net with a tidy finish.
Overjoyed Celtic fans took to Twitter to highlight the midfielder’s role in their rivals loss and will be optimistic of their club’s chances when the two rivals meet ahead of the new year.
Arsenal’s Europa League clash with FC Cologne drew a lot off attention to it for several reasons.
Following the shock defeat to the Bundesliga outfit, Arsenal fans alleged that their German counterparts joined them in singing an anti-Tottenham song during the game with many videos also surfacing online supporting these claims.
