Pure unadulterated passion on display from Pontus Jansson after the 1-0 win against Bristol City

Leeds United showed no signs of slowing down in the race for grabbing the automatic promotion spots with a 1-0 win over Bristol City away from home.

Patrick Bamford’s 9th minute strike proved to be the only goal during the fixture as Leeds held off a late push from the hosts to take all 3 points back to Elland Road.

Sheffield United’s win on Saturday had put the onus on Marcelo Bielsa’s men to respond and victory at Ashton Gate moved them back into the automatic promotion places.

Despite failing to add to Bamford’s early strike, Leeds produced a controlled performance for large spells of the game and were fully deserving of the three points.

But while they looked at relative ease over the course of the match, the hosts came to life during the last 10 minutes to give a real scare to the Whites.

Lee Johnson’s side seemed determined to grab a late equalizer but the Leeds’ defence marshalled by Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson held strong and thwarted many late attacks on their goal.

Cooper completed a personal milestone during the trip to Bristol by becoming only the 12th man to captain Leeds on 100 occasions.

While celebrations were always due after the vital win, Pontus Jansson clearly seemed more pumped up than his teammates when the players were applauding the travelling supporters.

A clip of the incident has since made it’s way to Twitter and United fans absolutely loved the passion on display from the Swede.

If a vital win lead to such a reaction, one can’t help but wonder how Pontus will react if Leeds end up winning the Championship.

Tottenham fans sang ‘auf wiedersehen’ to Dortmund supporters as the clock ticked down at Signal Iduna Park

Tottenham Hotspur wrapped up a completely professional performance here at the Signal Iduna Park as they beat Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund 1-0.

A solitary goal from Harry Kane was good enough to see Spurs march through to the quarterfinals of Europe’s biggest club competition.

The North London side came into the game with a 3-0 lead from the first leg after a stunning display back at Wembley but still needed to be professional to avoid any slip-ups against the youthful Dortmund side.

It was the German side who started the game in front foot and launched a series of attacks at Hugo Lloris’ goal.

Dortmund Skipper Marco Reus could be the one to break the deadlock with as little as ten minutes on the clock but a stunning challenge from Jan Vertonghen kept the German at bay.

Tottenham hardly had any sniff at the Dortmund goal as the Germans continued to apply rampant pressure and kept creating dangerous chances.

A fiery volley from Reus took a wicked deflection and missed the target much to the relief of a Hugo Lloris before the Frenchman made some stunning saves to deny Die Borussen.

The second half started in the same manner with the German side on the thick of the action but once again they failed to be decisive in front of the goal.

And on the 48th minute, against the run of play, Sissoko found Kane in acres of space and threaded a ball through the Dortmund defence which apparently looked switched off for a moment.

The Spurs skipper once again proved how lethal he can be in front of the goal as he slotted the ball past Roman Burki with ease.

Kane’s goal virtually killed the contest and the North London side held on to the lead to earn back to back clean sheets against the German side.

Towards the end of the match some of the Dortmund fans decided to leave the stadium early and the travelling Spurs fans didn’t hesitate to pick on them.

In a clip that is doing rounds online, the Spurs fan can be heard to chant ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ ( roughly translates to goodbye in English ) while waving the Germans farewell.

Have a look at it here.

(Video) Sweary malfunction on LUTV goes viral post Leeds United v West Brom

Leeds United returned to winning ways with the 4-0 thrashing of West Brom last Friday to maintain pressure on league leaders Norwich City.

A 17th-second stunner from Hernandez, another brace from Patrick Bamford and an injury time tap-in from Alioski were more than enough to sink a lackluster West Brom side.

With this win, Leeds are now two points clear of third-placed Sheffield United who were held goalless by Sheffield Wednesday in the Sheffield derby this Tuesday.

With only eleven matches to go, the situation is looking really promising for the Whites and their fans can now seriously start dreaming of getting back to the Premier League after a long absence.

At a time when things are looking to get better for the first team with every passing day, it didn’t go as planned for LUTV presenters during the post-match analysis after West Brom win.

In a viral footage uploaded by a Twitter user, the presenters can be seen to struggle with the touchscreen monitor during their detailed analysis.

One of the presenters can also be heard hurling inappropriate comments as he got more and more frustrated with the device.

In the end though, he finally managed to take control of the situation and resumed the analysis.

Display against Dortmund was exactly the kind of masterclass Tottenham fans needed in their life

The last few weeks have been tough for Tottenham fans. An early return for local hero Harry Kane after sustaining a ligament injury against Manchester United back in January did result in a goal but Mauricio Pochettino’s side weren’t able to take full advantage of their talisman’s return and were beaten 2-1 away from home by an in form Burnley side.

The following weeks were no better as they lost 2-0 at Stamford Bridge against a struggling Chelsea team, and were lucky to force a 1-1 draw against North London rivals Arsenal thanks to the 91st minute penalty save by captain Hugo Lloris.

Next challenge for Tottenham: playing against the Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund in front of the Yellow Wall of Signal Iduna Park in the Champions League.

Dortmund themselves are victims of a poor form having drawn 3, won 1 and lost 1 of their last 5 matches. Even though Tottenham had a 3-0 lead from the first leg in Wembley, the home team were expected to make things tough for the London side.

As expected Dortmund started strong by dominating possession, passing the ball well and pressing high, not giving Tottenham players any time on the ball. With their talisman Marco Reus returning from an injury, having missed the first leg, Dortmund seemed favorites to break the deadlock. But the well disciplined Tottenham defense made it impossible for the German side to get a clear shot at goal.

The 5 man defense retained their shape throughout the game. Vertonghen and Sanchez matched Jadon Sancho’s pace and managed to keep the English youngster quiet for the entire match. The incredible Tottenham defense put in 17 tackles throughout the game with a 70.6% win ratio. A stunning performance.

Spurs defense against Dortmund from coys

And few of the attacks that did manage to get past the defensive line, couldn’t beat Hugo Lloris. The French international put in a man of the match performance making 5 crucial saves in the first half itself, bagging his 100th clean sheet for Tottenham.

Harry Kane’s 48th minute goal ensured a quarter final place for the English side and made him Spurs’ top scorer in European competitions. Favre’s men put up an impressive performance, but the young and energetic side were no match for the mature and experienced Tottenham team.

Pochettino’s tactics proved to be on point and gave Dortmund no chance to pull a huge comeback they would have hoped to make. Tottenham truly pulled off a defensive masterclass and gave a performance their fans were dying to see. This game surely has uplifted the team’s morale and has proved that Tottenham are a force to be reckoned with in Europe.

What Alfredo Morelos did after Joe Worrall’s goal for Rangers vs Aberdeen

Rangers survived an early scare and came back from behind to hold Aberdeen 1-1 in the Scottish Cup Quarterfinals at the Pittodrie stadium.

The Gers went behind in as early as 11 minutes as Sam Cosgrove made no mistake from the spot after Connor Goldson took out Gary Mackay-Steven inside the penalty box.

Aberdeen, who have won only once in their last seven ties at home, looked all set to deny Steven Gerrard the chance to lift his first trophy as a senior team manager.

The Dons continued to create more and more opportunities in the first-half and Rangers could have been out of the tournament had they been a little bit more clinical in front of the goal.

During the break, Gerrard was expected to deliver a rousing team talk to the lift the spirits of his players and he seemed to have done exactly that as his side started the half in a completely different gear.

And they were rewarded in as early as the fourth minute of the second half through Joe Worrall.

Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent put in a deep cross from the corner spot and Worrall found himself completely unmarked in the far post thanks to some sloppy defending by the Dons.

The 22-year old made no mistake and took full advantage of it by slotting it home and gave his side the much-needed equaliser.

The Rangers players erupted with joy and started celebrating and after the full-time whistle the scorer Joe Worrall took it to Twitter to share the flare of emotions at that moment.

And it did not take some of the eagle-eyed Rangers fans to point out how their talismanic striker Alfredo Morelos celebrated the much-awaited equaliser.

In the viral video, the Colombian appeared to in complete ecstasy as he flung his hand in the air several times and shouted in excitement towards the away crowd. The Rangers fans are absolutely loving the passion that the Colombian displayed and amidst the huge number of transfer rumours that are linking the prolific striker to clubs Like Dortmund and Leicester City, this moment clearly defines where his heart is, at least for this season.

Egjan Alioski hounding West Brom players all over the pitch goes viral among Leeds United

Leeds United leapfrogged Sheffield United to climb up to the second place of the Championship table as they crushed a helpless West Brom side 4-0 here at Elland Road.

The Whites were expected to show a response following their shock 1-0 defeat against QPR and as soon as the referee blew the first whistle they looked determined to take control of the tie.

And with as little as 17 seconds on the clock, Pablo Hernandez smashed a powerful shot home to give his side a dream start.

Boosted by the early goal, Leeds created waves and waves of attacks but some lack of precision in front of the goal kept them from doubling the lead within minutes.

But it was Patrick Bamford who once again stood out for the Whites as he scored twice in the 28th and 63rd minute to give his side a comfortable lead.

And on the 92nd minute, Ezgjan Alioski wrapped up the tie by tapping it home from almost inside the six-yard box.

The Macedonian international once again managed to deliver a decent performance despite playing out of position.

The 27-year old prefers to play as an attacking midfielder but this season under Marcelo Bielsa, he is playing the role of a left back/wingback.

But shifting into a completely new position surely is no walk in the park and Alioski’s initial struggles to fit in proved that fact once again.

And during this period, a section of Leeds fans was absolutely not satisfied with his performance and some of them even went on to term the Macedonian ‘lazy’.

But the 27-year very quickly adapted to life as a left back and proved himself to be vital for Bielsa’s tactics.

As a matter of fact,  hard work and dedication have always been the strongest features of the Macedonian and from time to time he has reflected that on the pitch.

His insane stamina allows him to support the attack when his team in the front foot and come back down the pitch very quickly when the opponent has the ball.

The post-match stats also provide further evidence of how his hard grind helps the Whites in almost all matches, the Macedonian tops the list of most number of tackles and most number of touches.

Last Saturday was also no different for him as he managed as many as 72 touches, passed with 72% accuracy and won a staggering nine tackles to wrap up a complete performance.

And a Leeds fan took it to Twitter to share a footage from the match where the Macedonian can be seen to cover almost every corner of the pitch without taking a second’s respite before earning a corner kick.

Arsenal fans’ dislike for all things Tottenham was on full display after Aaron Ramsey’s goal

When it comes to dispute, there are two ways to go about it – All or Nothing.

Take the example of Hans Island, which is basically a large rock located in a wide channel of water separating Canada and Denmark. The island is contested over in a manner never seen before in terms of disputed territories. It all started when Canada left a bottle of Canadian Whiskey on the island and declared the territory. Denmark, in turn, responded by leaving a bottle a Peach Schnapps on the island and declaring the territory Danish. This is an example of the “Nothing” approach.

Exhibit B: The North London Derby – the hotly contested derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. The North London Derby has an almost Dennis-the-Menace kind of notoriety associated with it. The fixture has never been known to roll the Hans Island way, though.

Here is an example of the “All” approach –

As Aaron Ramsey scored his final derby goal for Arsenal in Saturday’s North London Derby at Wembley, the crowd erupted in a furor.

Arsenal fans went completely berserk as the Welshman breezed through the Spurs defense and rounded off Hugo Lloris to put the Gunners up in the 16th minute.

It was a moment that seemed to reverberate through the crowd of Arsenal fans. Pick any person from the sea of Arsenal supporters at that moment and anyone watching the derby for the first time would be forgiven if they thought that the place looked less like Wembley stadium and more like a warzone.

Arsenal fans’ disdain for the Lilywhites was evident as the sea of supporters rose with an adrenaline rush to jeer and throw jibes at the Spurs supporters.

The drama didn’t end there, however. Hugo Lloris turned savior in the dying minutes of the game as he saved a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty.

The draw left Tottenham in 3rd place, effectively ending their hopes of a title challenge, but did provide some respite to Mauricio Pochettino’s men following two successive away defeats at Burnley and Chelsea.

Kiko Casilla sends emphatic message to Leeds United fans after West Brom win

Leeds United bounced back from a narrow defeat against QPR in style as they smashed West Brom 4-0 to maintain pressure on league leaders Norwich City.

It took the Whites only seventeen seconds to open the scoring as Spaniard Pablo Hernandez blasted one in the top corner from outside the penalty box.

They could have easily doubled their lead within a few minutes after some sublime passing football but Tyler Roberts’ effort went straight to the West Brom Albion keeper.

They eventually struck the second of the night with Patrick Bamford who scored in both halves to increase the lead to three goals to nil.

Macedonian international Ezgjan Alioski put the final nail in the coffin as he tapped a Jamie Shackleton cross home.

With this vital win, Leeds are now placed second on the table, only two points behind league leaders Norwich City.

And Leeds’ January signing Kiko Casilla, who mostly played the part of a spectator against West Brom, took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate the team and the supporters.

Have a look at it here.

It was the first clean sheet for the ex-Real Madrid superstar in Leeds colours in what was his third appearance for the Whites.

Casilla, who has won as many as three Champions Leagues with Real Madrid, decided to make the switch when the Spanish side swooped up Belgian international Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea this summer.

Leeds United still have a long way to go before securing the automatic qualification spot for the Premier League next season and as the Catalonian shot-stopper pointed out, they’ll need similar performances in the weeks to come to make the dream come true.

Photo: The look of utter disbelief on Harry Winks’ face after Kieran Trippier’s moment of madness against Chelsea

It was a horrible night for Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs as they went down 2-0 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge midweek .

The London derby was poised to be a cracker as stakes were high for both sides.

Chelsea started the game with their regular number one Kepa Arrizabalaga on the bench as Argentine international Willy Caballero replaced him following his ‘miscommunication’ with Maurizio Sarri during the Carabao Cup final.

The match started in a very even manner with both sides showing discipline at the back.

It was Chelsea who created the first goalscoring opportunity through Higuain but his shot could only manage to rattle the bar.

On the other end of the pitch, Harry Winks managed to get a thunderous strike away from a distance but again it was the woodwork which prevented the first goal of the match.

Finally, on the 57th minute, Chelsea managed to break the deadlock as Pedro dribbled past Toby Alderweireld with ease before slotting it home by nutmegging Lloris.

It was not exactly the best effort from the Frenchman as he allowed it to go through his legs in the near post from a rather tight angle.

And on the 84th minute, the night got even worse for the World Cup winner.

The Frenchman came rushing down from his goal to grab a harmless-looking long ball but appeared to have failed to call for it.

Unaware of his goalkeeper’s location, Tottenham right-back Trippier, under pressure from onrushing Willian, decided to pass it back to his goalkeeper who was far from where he expected him to be.

The ball slowly rolled past the Frenchman into the open goal much to the delight of Chelsea who were subject to spells of intense pressure from Spurs following Pedro’s goal.

Tottenham players and supporters gasped at this howler with absolute disbelief and a brilliant snap from one of the cameramen on the field managed to capture it with perfection.

In the image, Harry Winks can be seen to hold is head in total shock and appears to be simply unable to believe what was happening.

Coaching staff’s reaction before James Garner made his debut is what Man Utd is all about

Manchester United’s impressive unbeaten domestic run continued when they thrashed Crystal Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park mid week.

Belgian international Romelu Lukaku scored a brace and Ashley Young struck a goal towards the end of the game to seal the victory for the Red Devils.

Manchester United are currently in the 5th spot in the Premier League table and have a real shot at securing a Champions League spot.

In this very comfortable night for the Manchester side, youngster James Garner made his senior team debut and became the 230th academy graduate to make it to the top.

The seventeen-year-old performed well in the youth ranks of United and has also represented the England national team in various youth competitions.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is extremely pleased with how the teenager is developing and even compared him with United Legend Michael Carrick.

Garner, however, did not feature in the first team but came on as a last minute substitute replacing Brazilian midfielder Fred.

But as the youngster was getting ready to come off the bench the United coaching staff did something that truly reflected what the Manchester side is all about.

Many of the coaching staff including Michael Carrick were caught on camera going out of the way to congratulate and inspire the young player as he approached the sideline

A Tottenham fan might have nailed their best Premier League XI with this lineup

Tottenham Hotspur lost some major ground in the title race after suffering a shock 2-1 loss to Burnley away from home on Saturday.

Harry Kane’s return was expected to spruce up a late push for the title but unfortunately the Englishman’s equalizer in the 65th minute proved to be ultimately futile when Ashley Barnes tapped in Burnley’s winner late on.

The fixture took a controversial turn when Mauricio Pochettino angrily confronted referee Mike Dean following the full-time whistle but apologized for his behavior in a recent presser and accepted a charge from the FA for improper conduct yesterday.

The Argentine also admitted that Spurs are a good 5-10 years away from being regarded as genuine title contenders based on the way they collapsed at Turf Moor.

But while this current crop of young Spurs stars may lack the experience to mount a sustained title charge, a fan has posted his ultimate Spurs XI lineup on Twitter which should give any European team a run for their money.

The team looks more like the stuff of dreams featuring most of the most talented players to have donned the famous white jersey.

Using a 3-4-3 formation to give a perfect blend of attack and defense, the fantasy line-up sees the likes of Harry Kane, Gareth Bale and club legend Teddy Sheringham feature in a deadly attacking trio while the back looks pretty secure in the hands of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Ledley King.

With full-backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose supporting the skill sets of a Modric-Carrick axis in midfield, the XI looks pretty daunting on paper.

While some sections of Spurs fans felt that the XI was spot on, others disagreed and felt that the likes of Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen and Rafael van der Vaart should have made the line-up as well.

What do you think Spurs fans ? Have your say below :

These 7 tweets after Burnley win shows how highly Newcastle United fans rate Florian Lejeune

An inspired Newcastle United carried on their impressive run of form as they beat Burnley 2-0 at St. James’ Park on Tuesday night.

Matt Ritchie and Isaac Hayden put on a brilliant display as two first-half strikes from Schar and Longstaff proved to be enough for the home side to seal a comfortable victory.

It was the fourth victory for the Magpies in the last six matches including the stunning victory over defending champions Manchester City.

During this stretch, the North East side have also accumulated the highest number of points among all the Premier League clubs, as pointed out by a Reddit user.

Top of the form table! from NUFC

They were struggling in the relegation zone just a few matches ago and this sudden yet amazing turn of form has form has left their fanbase in ecstasy.

And many of them singled out Frenchman Florian Lejeune as the key man behind this amazing turnaround.

The 27-year old suffered an injury during the pre-season which sidelined him for the first half of the season but he was quickly incorporated in the first team following his return in early January.

His inclusion in Rafa Benitez’s three-man defence has added a lot of calmness at the back and in the last six league games, they have conceded only thrice which prompted some of the fans to go as far as claiming it to be their best defence in the recent past.

His presence has also helped his fellow center-backs Jamal Lascelles and Fabian Schar who seemed to be struggling in the first half of the season, as a dedicated supporter pointed out.

The Frenchman is also very comfortable with the ball in his feet and from time to time his excellent technique has helped Newcastle to play the ball out very quickly from the back.

And once again the fans were prompt to recognize it.

In fact, his recent performances were so good that some of the fans have even drawn a comparison with Liverpool’s towering Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk.

The Frenchman is certainly proving himself to be one of the most promising defenders in the Premier League at this moment and while drawing a comparison with someone like Van Dijk may sound a bit over the top, it can be said with certainty that his recent performances were almost good enough to earn him a place in any of the top six clubs, as a Twitter user pointed out.

(Video) Drop everything and watch this goal from Celtic Reserves against Kilmarnock

Celtic Reserves followed the footsteps of the senior side as they beat Kilmarnock reserves by exactly the same margin recently.

Celtic were clearly the dominant side in the game as they created a number of opportunities and steadily warded off spells of pressure from the Kilmarnock.

All eyes were on the sixteen-year-old wonderkid Karamoko Dembele who had a pretty decent game but his spotlight was hogged by another sixteen-year-old Armstrong Oko-Flex who scored the decisive goal.

It all started on the right flank with Dembele who showed really good close control and strength before passing the ball to his captain Kerr McInroy.

The 18-year old Scot did not hesitate much before sending a brilliant long ball in-behind the Kilmarnock defence when he spotted a superb diagonal run by Oko-Flex.

The former Arsenal youngster made no mistakes and calmly headed it home past the opposition keeper.

Have a look at this brilliant team move around the 01.28 mark in the video below –

Sergio Aguero gave up on life after attempting to get the ball from Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard has easily been one of the best players in England for some time now and hence it’s no surprise to see reports linking the Belgian to top clubs across Europe surface each summer.

This year is no different and several sources have all but confirmed that Real Madrid will finally launch a firm offer to take the Belgian to the Santiago Bernabeu to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

While the rumours mill is growing louder each passing day, Hazard has done well to keep himself focused on the pitch and put in another resolute display against the Citizens during their Carabao Cup final showdown last Sunday.

While the Blues did well to battle it out with the Champions over the course of the 120 minutes, they were ultimately beaten 4-3 on penalties in a match that was largely overshadowed by the “miscommunication” between Kepa Arrizabalaga and Maurizio Sarri.

With so many lethal goal scorers on both sides, most fans were not expecting the lack of goals at Wembley but Blues fans seem to love this bit of magic produced by Hazard during the match.

The 28-year-old is not easy to stop once he gets going and Sergio Aguero found that out the hard way when he tried getting in his way during the game.

Hazard looked pretty unfazed when closed down by the Argentine striker and the City man had no option but to try drag him down when it looked like he would get away.

By the end, Aguero almost seems to have given up on stopping the winger and the distraught is clearly visible from his body language.

A clip of the wonderful bit of skill by the Belgian has been pretty popular with the Chelsea supporters and has garnered more than 9000 likes since it was posted two days back

Kieran Tierney’s 4-word summary of Ewan Henderson’s performance was pure ‘class’

Celtic are not showing any signs of slowing down as they push towards yet another league title and restored their 8 point lead at the top with a 4-1 win over Motherwell at home.

The Hoops had already established a comfortable 2-0 cushion going into the break but tempers flared in the second half when Gboly Ariyibi scored for the visitors when Celtic were expecting the ball to be returned to them after a Ryan Christie injury.

Motherwell tried to turn the tie around after the 51st minute strike but late goals from Edouard and Oli Burke sealed all points for the home side.

The game also marked the first senior start for 18-year-old Ewan Henderson.

Sitting in front of the defense, the young Scot covered every blade of grass and made some eye-catching passes moving forward and assisted Edouard for his first goal with a pinpoint cross.

Henderson clearly made an impression at Celtic Park on his full debut and is already earmarked as one of the most exciting talents emerging from Scotland.

His performance seemed to have impressed teammate Kieran Tierney as well who gave a cheeky 4-word summary about his debut after the game.

The brilliant comment has obviously gone down well with fans, who were singing praises of both the youngsters on Twitter following the game.

Check out the ‘class’ moment from the post match interview below –

The stunning Vinicius touch going viral among Real Madrid fans after Levante game

A gritty Levante side gave their illustrious opponents a run for their money as they went down 1-2 at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia yesterday.

Real Madrid were back in La Liga action following a shock defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu against Girona and were expected to show a response.

Madrid did start the game well but an inspired Levante side quickly came back into the game and looked dangerous from time to time.

Had their strikers managed to show a bit more composure in front of goal, the result could have been very different.

Real Madrid once again looked lost of ideas and creativity and needed two penalty decisions ( with the latter one being highly controversial ) to seal the match.

But even on this frustrating day, Balon d’Or Luca Modric and Brazilian starlet Vinicius Junior were the silver linings for Solari.

While Modric dominated the midfield while in possession, Vinicius was once again instrumental down the left-hand side.

The 18-year-old was not afraid to run at the Levante defence and looked dangerous whenever he got the ball.

During the first half, he managed to set up Benzema once with a lovely ground cross which the Frenchman failed to control and could have got himself in the scoresheet when he drove right into the Levante defence on another occasion.

The teenager also worked tirelessly in defence, helping Regulion out on a number of occasions.

And this has been the case in almost every game since the Argentine coach decided to give him first-team minutes.

His fearless attitude, dazzling footwork and dedication brings a spark among the Real Madrid players and fans alike and arguably it was one of the biggest reasons behind Los Blancos’ recent revival.

He also likes to show off glimpses of his audacious touch and control in almost every game and the Levante tie was no different.

In a moment of brilliance, the Brazilian trapped a long ball that was behind him with his right leg in a position that somewhat resembles a rabona.

This moment has once again left the Madridistas awestruck and hopes are high for another stellar performance by the youngster against Barcelona in the back to back El Clasicos this week.

The young Brazilian is certainly still a work in progress but he is showing every sign to possibly be one of the very best in the near future.

Arsenal fans noticed something brilliant on Lacazette’s Insta update after Southampton win

Arsenal cruised to the fourth place of the Premier League table as the brushed aside Southampton 2-0 thanks to first-half strikes from Alexandre Lacazette and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

It took only six minutes for Lacazette to open the scoring at the Emirates as he flicked on a Henrikh Mkhitaryan volley to give the Saints’ keeper absolutely no chance.

This was his 11th goal in this year’s competition and fourth straight goal in a home match.

He could have added another one to this tally but he somehow managed to blast an effort up and over the crossbar from inside the six-yard box.

The Frenchman was evidently frustrated by the miss and some stunning piece of defensive blocking and saves from Angus Gunn added to it.

But after the full-time whistle, the former Lyon man showed no signs of discontent and instead did something brilliant (if you are an Arsenal fan).

On his official Instagram page, the striker posted a photo of himself celebrating his goal with teammate Granit Xhaka at the Emirates and tagged the location as ‘my home’.

Have a look at his post here –

Despite expressing his love for the North London side from time to time, there were murmurs of the Frenchman leaving Arsenal in the near future according to reports online but this gesture on social media should fill the fans with much more confidence regarding their beloved striker’s stay at the club
