Chelsea Away kit For 24/25 Season Leaks to Horror Reviews: This is Hideous, OMG

Chelsea Football Club are in deep waters with their stumbling form and no respite in sight. Recent in the series of woes, was their EFL Cup defeat to Championship team Middlesbrough.

Even though they have made it to the semifinals, Pochettino’s team is utterly unpredictable at this point. They manage to win a game vs a tough opponent and then lose to a Championship team in the next.

The same can’t be said about the track record that their apparels have put up, as of late. Good or bad is a matter for you to decide but they have been consistent regarding the designs, that much is for sure.

Nike has been the kit designer for Chelsea since the 17-18 season and recently they have taken up the prerogative to build no nonsense kits. Most of their kits for the past 4 years have featured plain minimal shirt designs.

Chelsea’s away kit for the 2024/25 season has been leaked and it is once again as simple as they come.

Continuing the trend, this year’s away kit seems to be another one of the no art, no highlights design with just the logos, collar and hem of the sleeves contrasted with different colors than that of the shirt.

The main color for the shirt is faded yellow, or light beige (official name Guava Ice) to be precise. Chelsea’s away and alternate kits have featured such colors before.

The crest ‘Lion rampant’ and Nike logos are in dark Blue (Rush Blue) color displayed on either side of the shirt.

Nike have brought back the fan favorite tangerine color for the highlights on the badge. Spaces in the crest are filled with the tangerine orange color and the same color has been used as a band towards the end of the sleeves.

To contrast the main shirt color, hems of the sleeves and the collar have been given the dark blue color same as that of the logo and the crest.

Not going to lie, but this does look a lot like the Chelsea’s 2022-23 season third kit and Nike might as well be recycling the designs at this point.

As for the sponsor, Infinite Athlete was only front of the shirt sponsor for the current 2023-24 season and this means that Chelsea will be looking for a new deal with a new prospect to display their logo at the front.

The shorts are of similar design with same color scheme as that of the shirt and same dual colored bands at the hem.

First impression for the fans has not been pleasant and most of them seem disappointed with Nike.

The colors seem to be similar to that confirmed by an earlier leak but the design has become much simpler.

The dot pattern has been omitted in the latest version and this seems to be the final version according to Footy Headlines.

The kits are supposed to be available for fans to buy at the end of this season, near July 2024.
