In Fantasy Premier League, managing your £100m budget is almost as important as picking the right players. Being forced into a transfer or worse being priced out of one by £0.1m is one of the game’s biggest frustrations. This is where FPL price change predictors come in.
These tools monitor transfer data in real time to predict which players are likely to rise or fall in value. Getting in on a player before he rises or selling before he drops is key to building your team’s value over the season. But with several options available, which ones are the most reliable? Here’s a breakdown of the best price predictor websites you should be using.
Live FPL
Best for: Free, accurate, and real time data.
With the long-standing community favorite fplstatistics.co.uk now defunct, LiveFPL has stepped up to become the go to tool for most FPL managers. It’s free, fast, and presents its data clearly. LiveFPL shows a Progress percentage for both price rises and falls. When a player hits 100% (for a rise) or -100% (for a fall), they are flagged as very likely to change in price at the next opportunity (usually in the early hours of the morning, UK time).

While no tool is perfect, LiveFPL is currently regarded as the most accurate free predictor. It even tracks its own accuracy, often boasting 98-99% on rises. Especially this year they have been on target almost everytime, it is also my favourite to use, the website also features various other tools such as live ranks, fpl planner and top transfers for today. You can also look at their twitter page @LiveFPLnet where they post the price changes before they happen.

Whatthef.pl
This is a fantastic and essential tool. Instead of making its own predictions, whatthef.pl tracks the accuracy of the other major predictors (including LiveFPL, Fantasy Football Hub, and Fantasy Football Fix). It uses a statistical F1 score to objectively rank the prediction models over time. This allows you to see, on any given day or week, which site is performing the best. If you’re a serious manager, you can use this site to sense check the other predictors. If LiveFPL says a player will rise, but whatthef.pl shows LiveFPL has been less accurate on rises that week, you might wait for more information. However LiveFPL this season alone is best for most managers.

fplstatistics.co.uk, For years, this was the gold standard. As of this season, this site is no longer active. Many old forum posts and articles will recommend it, but managers should now look to LiveFPL as its spiritual successor.
