Ajax played their third game in six days but showed no signs of fatigue as they set the record for the biggest defeat in Eredivisie.
Perhaps taking out the frustration of the 1-0 loss against Liverpool midweek, Ajax broke their own record set against Vitesse after a 12-1 win in the 1971-72 season.
