It has to be said though, Manchester City better win the title now or this tweet will haunt Kyle Walker for life.
Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker took to Twitter displaying his pleasure after Liverpool’s draw against Leicester City.
City lost 3 crucial points on Tuesday night after the shock defeat at the hands of Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United but things didn’t turn out to be so bad as Liverpool could only increase the gap by a point.
The usage of the famous Harry Maguire photo does make it very funny, but Kyle Walker should know that Liverpool did eventually manage to make the gap bigger, even if it was only with the help of a draw.
As expected the tweet has now been deleted, check out a screenshot below –
As far as designing goes, this edit of Mohamed Salah’s brilliant goal against Porto should be considered as pure art.
An extremely talented graphics designer and also a Liverpool fan, @UKILFC went viral on Twitter after his design and interpretation of Salah’s goal in the Champions League received a number of retweets and likes.
The Merseyside club has been on a roll lately and signaled their intent for the rest of the season with a 5-0 thrashing of Porto last week.
An absolutely sick edit from a very talented designer, who is probably inspired by the team’s performance on the field.
The Rafalution continues as Newcastle United moved up to the second place in Championship with a fine 3-1 win over Brentford. All three points secured by the Geordies, thanks to two goals from Dwight Gayle and one from Ciaran Clark.
Besides the goalscorers, the main man (as usual nowadays) was Jonjo Shelvey with his two assists. The former Liverpool & Swansea man was provided space & time by the Brentford defence and the midfielder took full advantage with a pin-point long distance pass for Ciaran Clark to head it in.
Perhaps the best player in the league currently, watch Shelvey’s assist for Newcastle’s first goal below!
Simply stunning goal from the 36-year-old, who is making his A-League debut in the currently ongoing Melbourne derby at the Etihad Stadium.
The Toffees legend, with less than 30 minutes on his debut, controlled the ball and let off a mammoth 30 yard half volley to put Melbourne City 1-0 up. City lead the game 2-0 in the first half, with Bruno Fornaroli scoring the second goal.
Absolute belter and still definitely got it, watch the sensational strike below!
Despite Leicester City’s remarkable success last season, the Premier League campaign drifted by with little excitement, drama, controversy, and more than anything, quality.
Arsenal under-performed dramatically after Christmas, with Manchester City failing to reach their high standards, Manchester United struggled to come to terms with Louis Van Gaal’s philosophy, and champions Chelsea finished in a miserable mid-table position.
However, the arrival of Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte into English football are just one of a number of reasons as to why the upcoming season is already showing more promise for supporters.
A much bigger task certainly awaits. for Guardiola in City after a successful period in Germany with Bayern. After finishing fourth under Manuel Pellegrini last time around, City will be hoping to once again battle it out for the biggest prize of all. After under-performing last season, City look set to invest heavily in their playing squad this summer, with Ilkay Gundogan and Spanish winger Nolito already having secured moves to the Etihad. For those of you who fancy Guardiola to bring immediate success to City, the latest odds are up at bookmakers Betway, with Aguero and Co the 9/4 favourites for the title.
On the other side of Manchester, Jose Mourinho will be eager to erase the memories of Chelsea’s struggles from last season, as he embarks on life at Old Trafford with the goal of returning the club to the pinnacle of English football. The introduction of Zlatan Ibrahimović among others should certainly bring the excitement back to Old Trafford if nothing else.
As for Mourinho’s former club Chelsea, the shrewd appointment of former Italy boss Conte has given the Stamford Bridge faithful renewed confidence. With a home draw to London rivals Tottenham the high point of their season last time around, a lack of European football means that Chelsea will be expected to throw everything at a charge for the title. The arrival of N’Golo Kante from champions Leicester could well turn out to be the signing of the summer. Conte is 6/1 with Betway to win the Premier League at the first time of asking.

The never-ending saga i.e. Paul Pogba’s apparent transfer from Juventus to Manchester United received another twist as agent Mino Raiola took to Twitter with the latest information.
Bad bit of news for Man Utd fans. Though, the popular notion seems to be that Mino Raiola is holding everybody to ransom until his fee is paid.
Juventus & Manchester United had reportedly agreed a fee £92m(€110m) for the Frenchman. But the Italian club are asking the English counterparts to pay their part of Raiola’s fee. Something which is being refused by United and as a result Raiola isn’t happy.
