Eden Hazard and David Alaba, meet the newest footballing BFFs in town

Good friendships are hard to come by. A strong bond between teammates is reflected on the pitch and the club grows. Creating this bond is deemed essential by all the football clubs around the world.

The bromance in the footballing world isn’t like any other. Throughout footballing history, we have seen several pairs become best mates on and off the pitch.

We all remember the golden years of Real Madrid, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo with their iconic celebration. The triumvirate of Messi, Suarez, and Neymar was not only seen on the pitch but outside as well. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maxwell’s friendship has lasted decades, starting from their Ajax days, extending through Inter, Barcelona, and PSG. Can we ever get over the German duo of Mario Gotze and Marco Reus?

These days, another friendship is stemming out of San Bernabéu…

After the arrival of David Alaba last year, Real Madrid has been doing pretty well. They are the league toppers, with silverware already in their cabinets. David Alaba has well settled in Madrid and has been influential in Real Madrid’s wins this season.

David Alaba has found a great friend in the former Chelsea forward Eden Hazard. It is surely flourishing into one of the most heartwarming friendships.

Alaba and Hazard have been seen arriving at the training centre together in the same car. They have also been leading the training together.

What stands apart in the saga of their friendship is that both have now got the same haircut!!

David Alaba is surely a godsend to Real Madrid. The Austrian international is a born leader and can be seen to have similar attributes to his predecessor, Sergio Ramos.

Alaba has been a serial winner at Bayern, and he has brought along that winning mentality at Madrid. He has been influential in helping Hazard try to pick up his form.

Hazard has struggled in Spain, ever since his arrival. He has been subjected to numerous injuries and his performance has been sub-par given the fee. However, his crucial last-minute winner in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 match against Elche shows signs of improvement on his part.

And we can already guess who gave Hazard the assist for this crucial goal…

Eden Hazard seems to be happy to have found a friend in Alaba. Sharing such a bond always helps players to improve their game. And when it comes to the experience of Alaba, we can expect something worthwhile to come out of this friendship.

Hazard and Alaba are not the only friends taking the fans by a storm, Benzema and Vinicius’ growing friendship has seen great effects on the pitch, with the latter becoming a member of the 100-million-club.

The super form of the forward lineup has helped Real Madrid march their way back to the top of the table. They are four points clear of Sevilla, who takes second place, and 16 points clear from the reigning champions, who stagger in the fourth spot.
