Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, popularly known as “Bad Bunny”, is one of the most well-known music artists in the world at the moment. Though his music is primarily in Spanish, he is the most-streamed artist on Spotify globally.
Naturally, his influence can also be spotted in another one of the world’s most popular pastimes – professional sports. Though he has famously admitted in the past that he is “very bad” at playing sports himself, that has not stopped Bad Bunny from making a lasting impression at some of the most popular sporting events in the world.
He put in a historic performance in the halftime show of Super Bowl LX, becoming the first artist to perform the entire 13-minute show in Spanish, whole also scoring an Emmy award nomination. Now, he has set his sights on world football’s most popular and prestigious tournament, the FIFA World Cup.
According to reports, a collaboration between Bad Bunny and sportswear giant Adidas is in the works, and a much-hyped version of the fan favourite F50s are about to hit store shelves. Sources claim the release of the boots are strategically timed to coincide with the World Cup final.
A few images of a bright-yellow variant called the “Solar Slime” have already emerged. These boots are expected to release on July 18, priced at about $160 a pair.

For those that prefer a more darker colour scheme, there is also the “Ghost Sprint” version.

As of writing, the biggest Adidas-sponsored athletes still in the 2026 FIFA World Cup include Lionel Messi (Argentina), Jude Bellingham (England) and Lamine Yamal (Spain).
Were one or more of these nations to reach the final, we could see these superstars become the first players to show off Bad Bunny’s newest boots in the World Cup final, which is statistically the most watched sporting event in the world, garnering in viewership in the billions.
