The topic of climate change and its effects has been a recurring theme over the past 20 years, and many believe it’s a topic that shouldn’t be taken lightly, while others believe it’s simply a myth. But when it comes to politics and also climate change, one of the greatest activists of modern times is the Swedish Greta Thunberg, who is known for challenging several world leaders to take immediate action to mitigate the effects of climate change. Since 2018, Greta has practically been a global environmental icon and the face of the fight against climate change. Since 2018, Greta has practically become a global environmental icon and the face of the fight against climate change. She has been fighting for this since she was very young.
Since that year, Greta has gained enormous fame because she is someone who is not afraid to speak her mind because she knows that what she does, she does to save the environment and the world. She’s been to protests in various locations and has spoken out about the wars in Ukraine, Palestine, and more. Of course, she’s also received criticism for her personality and for being too young to be lying about adult topics. They’ve even used her in memes. But really, Greta has been slowly changing the world. And she was recently seen en route to Gaza from Barcelona, dressed a little differently than usual.
Greta was seen wearing a shirt from an Irish football team called Bohemian Football Club. This is weird because Greta isn’t someone who talks about sports or football all the time, so seeing her wearing a soccer jersey is weird and surprising. She was also seen answering questions while wearing the Irish team jersey.

When it comes to the kit, she was seen wearing a blue version of the kit with small vertical and pink lines and a black collar. She was also seen wearing a necklace to top that off. This is the third kit from the Bohemian FC for this season and people can buy it on their official website.
As per the club’s own statements, “our 2025 third (alternative kit),designed by Fontaines D.C.’s own Carlos O’Connell in conjunction with Bohemian FC designers, pays homage to their award-winning 2024 album Romance.” The line “I thought it was romance” from that album is on the neck portion of the shirt. It costs 75 euros.
Never thought I’d see Greta Thunberg in a Bohs jersey. Truly a massive club. pic.twitter.com/ecCttoC3zO

Overall, there was a lot of surprise regarding the photo of Thunberg with this kit. First and foremost because she has never been associated with a football club and the sport in general. Perhaps she wore it simply for the aesthetic or maybe she is a football fan through and through.
It’s great to see that Greta cares about football, even if it’s enough to wear a team jersey. Great has received both support and hate online in recent years, but at the end of the day, she’s someone who’s looking out for the best for the planet.
