Reiss Nelson has recently signed a season long loan with Brentford for the 2025-26 season. The Arsenal star has been on loan across various clubs ever since he signed with the Gunners in 2017. He has been on loan to TSG Hoffenheim and Feyenoord in Europe and was with Fulham in the Premier League last year. His move to Brentford this year is another season away from the Emirates as Arsenal, who pay him a GBP 100,000-week salary, have a tough time selling him due to his high wages.
Fans and social media chimed on his latest move to Brentford. A certain section of fans were impressed his commitment to stay in London even though he could have had offers outside of capital, which shows his deep commitment to the city.

Besides being born and bred in London, his decision to remain there is likely influenced by the substantial business interests he maintains in the city.
Among his ventures is Riverslide, a clothing line that deeply resonates with his South London heritage.
The brand serves as a canvas for his personal style and artistic vision, characterized by neutral tones and clean lines. Through Riverslide, he aims to transcend traditional fashion by weaving narratives into each piece, transforming garments into storytelling mediums that reflect his journey and experiences.
Riverslide, the river runs through. It just means the journey, and how every person chooses to live theirs, is different. But for us, it’s just to make sure that whatever life throws at you, you just keep taking steps in the right direction. You don’t get discouraged or lose focus on that end goal. The inspiration I get from my brand is just everyday life. Going through certain experiences trying to build that into what I’m creating. To tell that story through my work of design, fashion, sport, music. Plus wanting to give back is something I love to do. So Riverslide allows me to do that in a creative way.
