Division Rivals remains one of the foundational competitive modes in Football Ultimate Team (FUT), offering a weekly test of skill against online opponents. For FC 26, the reward structure has been refined with new features aiming to reduce the grind and offer more consistent progression. Here’s a breakdown of the reward system and key changes in FC 26’s Division Rivals.
The core structure of Division Rivals a ranked ladder leading from Division 10 to the Elite Division remains, but two major additions aim to improve the weekly experience: Bounties and Duels.

Less Grind, More Rewards: The Division Rivals experience has been tweaked to be less demanding. The required points to achieve weekly rewards have reportedly been lowered.
Introducing Bounties: This new mechanic helps players accelerate progress by providing Rivals Points, Champions Qualification Points, Coins, Packs, Season XP, and Stage Skips for completing certain tasks during gameplay. This allows players to move through the division stages quicker.
Introducing Duels: This feature allows players to net points even if they lose a match, which helps alleviate the frustration of losing streak and makes progression feel fairer.
Reward Upgrades: Players still have the choice between the standard Weekly Reward and an upgraded version, typically requiring more wins/points.
Reward Release Time: Division Rivals rewards are consistently released every Thursday (e.g., 6:59 AM UTC / 8 AM BST).
The rewards are tiered, meaning the higher the division you achieve, the better the rewards. You must accumulate a certain number of points per week (e.g., 15 points for the Weekly Reward and 30 points for the Reward Upgrade) to unlock them. Here is an example of how it works.
| Division | Weekly Reward | Reward Upgrade |
| Elite | 1x 1 of 3 82+ Rare Gold Player Pick (Untradeable), 2x 1 of 3 84+ Rare Gold Player Pick (Untradeable), 1x 81+ TOTW Player Pack (Untradeable), 11,000 Coins | 2x 1 of 3 83+ Rare Gold Player Pick, 2x 1 of 3 85+ Rare Gold Player Pick (Untradeable), 1x Mega Pack, 25,000 Coins |
| Division 1 | 2x 1 of 3 84+ Rare Gold Player Pick (Untradeable), 1x TOTW Player Pack, 10x 75+ Rare Gold Players Pack (Untradeable), 9,000 Coins | 1x 1 of 3 83+ Rare Gold Player Pick, 3x 1 of 3 84+ Rare Gold Player Pick (Untradeable), 10x 75+ Rare Gold Players Pack 1x Mega Pack, 20,000 Coins |
Division Rivals in FC 26 is integral to progress in the Ultimate Team ecosystem. The rewards provide essential resources for Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), trading, and upgrading your squad. However the ranking up may happen too quickly especially with boosts and after Division 4 and 5, gameplay becomes extremely tough and you may not find it enjoyable. Completing objectives also becomes tough so progress at a slower pace. Here are the benefits of playing rivals:
Player Picks: The most valuable weekly rewards are often the Rare Gold Player Picks, offering a choice of high rated players which are useful for either your starting XI or as high value fodder for SBCs.
Coins: Earning Coins is crucial for market transactions, making the higher payouts for the Reward Upgrades a tempting objective.
Team of the Week (TOTW) Packs: These offer a chance at in form cards, which are often required for higher tier SBCs and provide a significant boost to your active team mostly as Fodder as packing the better cards is near impossible.
