The competition maintains a predictable weekly schedule, typically spanning from the end of the work week into the beginning of the next. The standard schedule for the FUT Champions Finals in FC 26 is generally as follows, the start time is 8:00 AM BST on Friday and ends on Tuesday 8:00 AM BST (UK time). For gamers in USA, the start time would be 12:00AM PT Friday and end time would be 12:00AM PT Tuesday .
You’re limited to 15 matches in the FUT Champions Finals, with your final rank and rewards determined by your total points earned from those games. Rewards are delivered immediately upon completing all 15 matches, or automatically once the competition closes if you don’t finish your games.
This year the competitive weekend format has been streamlined and made more accessible. The separate Champions Playoffs stage has been removed. You now earn Champions Qualification Points by playing Division Rivals. Once you’ve earned the required 1,000 points and reached Division 6 (or higher), you can redeem your entry for the next Finals event. The ranking system has been expanded from 10 to 15 tiers, ensuring that every win grants a reward and making incremental progress more satisfying. A new competition, Challengers, runs alongside the main FUT Champions for players in lower Divisions (Division 7 and below). This provides a stepping stone to experience the competitive atmosphere with its own set of rewards, preserving the prestige of the main FUT Champions.
While the Friday to Tuesday window is the standard, players should always be mindful of a few exceptions. Special Ultimate Team promotional events can sometimes lead to a temporary extension of the Weekend League, occasionally pushing the end time to a Wednesday.
