Players logging into FC 26’s Ultimate Team mode have been greeted with two significant rewards, specifically tied to the Level 40 choice from last seasons pass. For those who reached the top tier of that season, the reward was a choice between a high rated player item or a valuable pack.
The compensation being distributed appears to be an effort to correctly allocate these rewards, especially for those who may have experienced glitches or selected the Claim All option, which historically sometimes defaulted to the pack instead of a desired player.
The reported rewards arriving in FC 26 are:
Free 86 Rated World Tour Tomori: An untradeable special version of defender Fikayo Tomori, which was one of the Level 40 player options in the original Season Pass. This appears to be primarily for players who may have missed out on by choosing the pack instead.
Free Tradable 84×3 Rare Gold Players Pack: The pack alternative to the Tomori player. Notably, the tradable status makes this a valuable asset for boosting a starting FC 26 club or generating coins on the transfer market.
While EA Sports has not released an official detailed statement on this specific wave of rewards, community reports suggest this is a proactive effort to rectify a long standing issue with the multi choice Level 40 from the season pass. Reports from the player base indicate that players who explicitly selected the 86 OVR Tomori World Tour Card are now receiving the tradable 84×3 Pack. Conversely, players who took the pack (or whose rewards glitched to the pack) are now receiving the Tomori card.
Essentially, EA is trying to ensure all eligible players who hit the Level 40 milestone for that specific season receive both the player and the pack or at least receive the item they missed out on due to the previous passes technical issues.
