While it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Willian at Stamford Bridge lately, the Brazilian looked close to his best again during Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday yesterday.

Following his arrival from Juventus on loan, Gonzalo Higuain stole much of the limelight before the kick-off but all eyes soon turned to Willian & Callum Hudson-Odoi with the youngster destroying the opposition with his dribbling prowess and the Brazilian fully deserving his brace.

While getting on the scoreboard was impressive in itself, it’s the flair with which the 30-year-old went about his business that really stood out, such as this incident where he absolutely took an opposition defender to town with a sick elastico after sublimely controlling a cross near the Sheffield box.
