Coaching staff’s reaction before James Garner made his debut is what Man Utd is all about

Manchester United’s impressive unbeaten domestic run continued when they thrashed Crystal Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park mid week.

Belgian international Romelu Lukaku scored a brace and Ashley Young struck a goal towards the end of the game to seal the victory for the Red Devils.

Manchester United are currently in the 5th spot in the Premier League table and have a real shot at securing a Champions League spot.

In this very comfortable night for the Manchester side, youngster James Garner made his senior team debut and became the 230th academy graduate to make it to the top.

The seventeen-year-old performed well in the youth ranks of United and has also represented the England national team in various youth competitions.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is extremely pleased with how the teenager is developing and even compared him with United Legend Michael Carrick.

Garner, however, did not feature in the first team but came on as a last minute substitute replacing Brazilian midfielder Fred.

But as the youngster was getting ready to come off the bench the United coaching staff did something that truly reflected what the Manchester side is all about.
