The club & Nike haven’t confirmed it officially but the first image of what could be Tottenham Hotspur’s home kit for 2019/20 season has just leaked online.

The picture surfaced on Twitter & Reddit and is suspected to be the one that will closely resemble the official jersey.

Changes In The New Jersey

It looks like a big jump from this season’s home kit. The upcoming jersey is rather simple & basic with no extra details. It’s plain white with navy blue border on the collar & the sleeves. The logos & the authenticity mark are all in navy blue while the AIA mark is kept the same.

2018-19 Kit

Last season’s jersey had a gradient design which received mixed reviews. Dissatisfaction was mainly due to the plain white shorts which fans found to be non-matching with the edgy t-shirt.

A gradient pattern was at the bottom while the rest of the t-shirt was in full white with navy blue only on the back side of collar & the logos.

Hype & Expectations

Overall, fans have a good opinion regarding the leaked new kit which is less experimental compared to that of Barcelona & Chelsea. It is simple & elegant.

Some are also of the opinion that it’s boring. After all, footballers are known for their style & this one is rather simple. Still, the Twitterati seem content with the change from navy gradient to this no-nonsense, straightforward white kit.
