The suspension of football has proved to be a blessing in disguise for the injured footballers.
They have been able to recover away from the glaring eye of the media while not missing any matches.
But, with football returning, some of them have returned to individual training, in view of reclaiming their spot in the first team. One of those players would be Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.
Dani Ceballos was preferred to Torreira by manager Mikel Arteta, especially since the winter break in February.
Torreira did his chances to reclaim his spot no favor when he injured himself in his only start. He suffered a broken ankle against Portsmouth in the FA Cup.
Despite suffering the injury in March, Torreira is in contention to return in time for the Premier League restart.
Going by a recent photo he posted, it seems the Uruguayan hasn’t missed a single day in the gym during his rehabilitation.
