Telegraph journo Sam Wallace dropped an absolute bombshell to wake up every football fan from the mundanity of the ongoing international break.

In an explosive world exclusive, Wallace revealed how Manchester United and Liverpool have been working together on a set of proposals that will reshape the finances of football.

It is called as ‘Project Big Picture’.

Some of these proposals such as £250m a year to the lower leagues and capping of the away tickets at £20 seem fantastic.

But it also does seem like the proposals are going to lead into a situation where English football is being dictated by the Premier League top-six clubs.

Doing away with the League Cup and the Community Shield also seems outrageous.
