Rony might have just taken one of the worst penalties ever seen in football as Brazilian outfit Palmeiras succumbed to Egyptian juggernauts Al Ahly earlier today.
You just can’t help but let a smile out after looking at how miserably Rony missed the penalty after his utterly dickish run-up.
With the score tied at 0-0 at the end of regulation time and extra time, the play-off to determine who takes the 3rd and 4th place at the ongoing Club World Cup went to penalties in Qatar.
It just wasn’t to be for Palmeiras as three of their key players in Rony, Luiz Adriano and Felipe Melo, missed the penalties.
Al Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawi turned out to be the hero as he saved two of those kicks and led the Egyptians to bronze.
