Inter Milan ditch traditional stripes for snakeskin in new home kit

Nike has successfully pulled off one of the best kits for the upcoming season.

The Inter Milan kit for the 2021/22 season is a magnificent one, as the Nerazzurri have ditched their traditional stripes of black and blue for a snakeskin themed print for the coming season.

The defending champions of Italy are fresh off a season where they finally ended Juventus’ monopoly in the Serie A, and will look to get even better next season–and there could possibly be no better kit to do it in.

The new kit will feature the Milan club’s new crest for the first time ever–and the snakeskin print could possibly allude to the Nerazzuri shedding their old skin or their old crest for a new one.

The kit is clad in their traditional colours of black and blue but does not feature them in stripes as usually seen, and does not yet feature a new shirt sponsor as their long-term deal with Pirelli only concluded this summer.

The kit also features the Italian crest usually worn by the league winners of the previous season, giving a classy look to the new kit that has got a lot of attention from the online football community on social media.

The kit is accompanied by a dark blue round collar and sleeve edges to compliment the brilliant snakeskin pattern on the shirt.

Football fans online dubbed it as one of the best kits of the coming season, one that Romelu Lukaku and company will don next season as they look to defend their title of champions of Italy–and start a brand new monopoly in the Italian Serie A with a brand new crest.
