Rafael Leao scores the sauciest goal ever – only for Zlatan to be ruled offside

AC Milan continued their scintillating form with another win under their belt over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Rossoneri were absolutely sublime on the day, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic claiming his 150th Serie A goal and Franck Kessie converting a spot-kick – giving Milan their 10th win of the season and taking them to the second spot on the table, only second to Napoli on goal difference.

Besides Ibrahimovic, the Portuguese forward Rafael Leao too managed to turn a few heads with what was a classy headed-finish, albeit chalked off.

The chance was created thanks to an expertly fed ball by Ibra as the lanky forward scored one of the sauciest goals ever seen in football.

The 22-year-old showcased supreme ball control, chipping the ball over compatriot Rui Patricio’s head and subsequently heading it home.

This valiant effort however was for nought as Zlatan was flagged offside by the referee much to the dismay of the fans.

Nonetheless, this stunning piece of artistry from the Portuguese was subject to much appreciation on Twitter who recognized his talent as one to be on the lookout for.

Leao, who has scored 4 goals in 11 Serie A appearances this season, initially struggled with consistency but has only grown in stature ever since. Owing to which he was called by the Portuguese national side for the first time ever, kick-starting his international career.
