With the current season done and dusted (barring the UCL final), teams can look towards strengthening their squads and preparing for the next season.
One side which is in desperate need of new arrivals are Chelsea FC.
The likes of Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso etc have all been heavily linked with moves away, alongside Antonio Rudiger whose departure has already been confirmed.
The transfers will leave a gaping hole in the Blues’ backline, making defensive reinforcements a priority.
A shortlist of targets have reportedly been drawn up by Thomas Tuchel and Co, and at the top sits Sevilla Centre back Jules Kounde.
The Frenchman has been on Chelsea’s wishlist since last summer and came close to joining them before Sevilla pulled the plug due to a disagreement over the transfer fee.
Rumours and reports have continued to pop up which suggest that the transfer is only a matter of time and should get done as soon as Todd Boehley’s much-awaited takeover gets completed.
They gained fire once again, as the 23-year-old was spotted out and about in London.
As seen in this picture, Kounde poses for a snap alongside a fan, who confirmed that the picture was taken on Oxford Street in London. With his whereabouts located, Chelsea fans began to get excited about the prospect of Kounde finally joining the Blues.

Wants to play for Chelsea
Kounde has headed straight to London and is having photos with half our fanbase. This after being pissed off when Sevilla ruined his move to Chelsea last summer.
