Kit leaks are inevitable nowadays, and most kits surface online weeks and even months before their official release.
These leaks don’t always hit the nail on the head, but still manage to give fans a firm idea of the core concept behind the upcoming designs.
A few months ago, we saw FC Barcelona‘s entire 22/23 collection leak online.
And by the looks of it, history is all set to repeat itself.
However, the latest rumours arrive an entire year before launch, as Barcelona-based newspaper Sport has seemingly leaked their kits for the 2023/24 season.
For the moment, fans have been provided with renders that reflect Sport’s information, although final details may vary.
First up, we have Barca’s primary threads for 23/24.
In recent years, Nike has experimented with the stripes at the heart of the traditional Blaugrana look.
For their upcoming iteration, the American sportswear brand is opting for a more classic approach.
Inspired by the 3 wide striped designs that most of Barca’s kits have historically featured, the kit will use maroon and blue as primary colours.
There were murmurs of centralized logos, as reflected in this concept, although they are unconfirmed at the moment.
Nevertheless, it is likely that the sponsor logos will still feature in a yellow shade.
The away kit draws from Barca’s rich history as well, on this occasion from the 1977-78 season, which saw an all-white secondary kit.
Barcelona hasn’t used white for the away kit since, and it looks all set to make a comeback next season.
Based on early details, this mockup gives us a visual representation of what the final product may look like, with black colours and accents thrown in for optimal contrast.
Info on the third kit is scarce at the moment, however, early details mention the use of Saint George’s Cross, alongside a predominant Light Gray shade. Judging by these details, next season’s third kit will likely have similarities with the current one.
