Fans have generally been amused by this, with some reacting with praise for the girl for choosing to shoot her shot at the right moment, while some being impressed that the young football starlet, who is not yet known to have any romantic associations, has already become so popular among women.

Some are also making fun of the fanbase for resharing the clip so widely, with one tweeting, “There are so many virgins in our fanbase sharing it like they got the number instead of Gavi”.

Gavi has played 53 times for Barcelona across all competitions since making his debut in a 2-1 La Liga victory over Getafe in August 2021.
