Liverpool Third Kit For 23/24 Season Leaks Online With Van Dijk Photoshopped On It

With kit leaks popping up almost every day, Footy Headlines have managed to catch another big fish, just in time for the Premier League’s resumption.

The leak has all to do with English Heavyweights Liverpool, who have already had their primary and secondary strips for 2023/24 leaked online.

As per the leaks, the Reds’ home kit will be firmly rooted in tradition, while the away kit will introduce a splash of white with green for company.

And completing the set, we now have a leak for the third kit as well.

By the looks of it, Nike are all set to opt for a streamlined look with a fresh, modern shade at the forefront.

Borrowing from the keeper’s jersey for the current season, Liverpool’s third kit for 23/24 is said to be purple.

In what is a rare colour combination for the club, the third strip will feature a shade dubbed ‘space purple’ with dark grey accents providing the contrast.

Judging by this 75% accurate render, the predominant shade looks very similar to lilac.

On the other hand, the logos will be present in a color dubbed ‘gridiron’, which is essentially white.

The sleeve cuffs and the inlets on either side will show off the dark grey accents, adding a bit more balance to the overall look.

The closest example of a purple Liverpool kit dates back to the 2018/19 season, which saw sponsors New Balance introduce a luminous purple on that year’s away kit.

Aside from that comparison, this potential design is very much a fresh look for the Reds.

Initial fan reactions to the kit were mostly positive, with Reds online praising the modern approach, and Nike’s willingness to try out something new.

They also couldn’t help but imagine Jude Bellingham in the kit, as the England International is currently at the very top of Liverpool’s wish list.
