Manchester City’s star striker Erling Haaland is enjoying the off-season holidays. The Norwegian star made a quick impact at Etihad in his maiden season, playing an instrumental role in helping the club bag a unique treble title.
The UEFA Champions League trophy, which had been eluding the Cityzens all these years finally landed at Etihad and it was definitely a jewel in the crown for the Abu Dhabi-bankrolled club.
And after clinching the biggest UEFA trophy in England, Haaland was spotted holidaying in the Spanish city of Ibiza.
Unlike some others of his ilk, who prefer privacy, especially when they are away from the football pitch, Haaland had no qualms whatsoever in obliging the shutterbugs and was even happy posing for the ‘modern-day madness’ called ‘selfies’ with fans.
Pictures of him posing with striking a happy pose with former Miss Croatia, Ivana Knoll, who has been was dubbed as ‘World Cup’s sexiest fan’ has sent Twitteratti into splits.
“Norway invaded Croatia,” tweeted one excited fan while “He’ll need to start firing in the goals for Norway if she wants to see him again at Euro 2024,” tweeted another.
The grapevine is that the football star and the fashion model apparently ran into each other at the exclusive Playa Soleil beach club in Ibiza.
Haaland was trying to hide his expression though with fancy white-shaded sunglasses while Knoll was in her usual bare-it-all attire in the picture clicked from the recently-launched Balearic hotspot, with the Croatian model, herself sharing it on her social media profiles.
Knoll, known for her support to the Croatian national football team wherever they play, was last spotted at a football venue during the UEFA Nations League final in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where her team lost out to Spain on penalties after 120 minutes of goalless action.
During the tournament, Knoll shared photos on her Instagram account where she has many followers, from Amsterdam, posing in a blue mini-skirt and low-cut top next to the Amstel River.
During the final, the Croat wore a checked outfit, a low-cut blouse with long sleeves and boots, with checks very similar to the Croatian national football team’s jersey.
Haaland, who scored 36 goals for City in his Premier League debut and 52 goals in all competitions throughout the season, has been on a vacation in Spain for a while after Norway’s World Cup qualification campaign ended, with Ibzia, well known for its nightlife, being his latest destination.
The 22-year-old had also been one among the many City players invited to the wedding of Spain international Aymeric Laporte.

There was a frenzy in Ibiza streets when they spotted the City’s treble star, with shouts of “Ballon d’Or” reverberating all over. Going by his goal-scoring spree and current form, one will not be surprised if he goes on to win the biggest individual prize in football later this year.
Later, Haaland was also spotted with The Night League CEO Yann Pissenem, with the photo attracting as much attraction as it was with the one taken together with the Croatian Diva.
