Fans Stunned by Stefan Bajcetic’s Enormous Right Calf

Fans Stunned by Stefan Bajcetic’s Enormous Right Calf

Stefan Bajcetic has become somewhat of an afterthought in Liverpool’s blistering ongoing 2023/24 season. He has been restricted to two appearances and 90 minutes of game-time, with injuries tormenting him. But it looks like during his road to recovery Bajcetic has levelled up his calf muscles to an insane level.

Bajcetic was Liverpool’s breakout star of the 2022/23 season. He made 24 appearances for the Reds and also became their youngest non-English goal-scorer in Premier League history.

However, towards the end of the 22/23 campaign, Bajcetic’s injury woes began. He missed the last few months of the season due to an adductor injury.

After making two appearances at the start of the 23/24 campaign, a nasty calf injury has kept him sidelined ever since September 2023. The 19-year-old is aiming to make a comeback in the final stretch of the campaign, and his recent training photos have caught the eye of many fans.

The Mystery of Stefan Bajcetic’s Enormous Right Calf

To his credit, Bajcetic looks to have gotten physically stronger and more muscular during his rehab. He not only fixed his calf issues but also looks to have also bulked up a bit. The teenager recently posted a bunch of pictures on him working hard in Liverpool training amid the international break.

In the pictures, he looks to be in a better physical state than he was last season. It’s clear that Bajcetic has realized that to thrive in the Premier League as a midfielder, he needs to develop the necessary physical attributes.

He posted a bunch of pictures recently in which the midfielder is working with the ball and looking sharp in training. However, one particular snap has now gone viral.

This picture shows Bajcetic kicking a football. But on a second look, it’s clear that there is something peculiar about his right calf. While everything else is well-toned, there is this huge round bump around his right calf area. It’s almost as big as a tennis ball and almost looks like a deformity of sorts.

This has sent some of the Liverpool fans into a frenzy. A number of supporters believe that he trained like a maniac to become a physical beast during the last few months. Many are delighted to have him back to provide more depth in midfield options, especially if he possesses that kind of calves that can scare opposition players.

While Liverpool are no short of midfielders – having signed four new ones last summer – Bajcetic’s energy and technical prowess can help them.

That is why a lot of fans are excited to see him back, especially if he’s as physically strong as he comes off in these pictures. Other teams’ supporters are also freaked out by this, shouting drug abuse or something illegal to become this ripped.

Some fans can’t unsee the similarity with former Liverpool player Xherdan Shaqiri’s incredible calf muscles.

The Real Reason Behind Stefan Bajcetic’s Freaky Calf

Fans are naturally confused due to the strange shape of his right calf.

Could it be a case of photoshop? Highly unlikely considering how Bajcetic has not inflated his physical structures in any other pictures.

The most likely reason behind his abnormal right calf seems to be that the camera captured all the muscles and fat that was swinging about as Bajcetic prepared to shoot the ball with full force.

This phenomenon regularly occurs with someone like Jack Grealish, whose calves have made into national news.

While Bajcetic’s calves are probably not as ripped or huge as Jack Grealish’s, he seems to be taking care of them and enlarging them after the recent injury setback. The 19-year-old is aware of the need to take better care of his body to avoid any more injuries going forward.

With Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Dominik Szoboszlai locking up the midfield positions, it’ll be tough for the Spaniard to get regular appearances. However, he can be a solid squad player for the remainder of the campaign and put in energetic performances to help the Reds end the Jurgen Klopp era with the Premier League title.
