Tottenham Hotspur is one of the greatest and most followed teams in England. They may not be the most successful, but we’ve seen them win matches in surprising ways and have a squad that can rival bigger teams. This year, they managed to end their drought and win the UEFA Europa League for the third time in their history, their first trophy since 2008. But despite winning this trophy, they had one of the worst seasons in their Premier League history, finishing 17th in the table, 13 points above the relegation zone.
There are many members of Tottenham who are very well-known today: Cristian Romero, James Maddison, Dominic Solanke and Heung-min Son, who recently finished his time as a player for this team.
There are also those players who are no longer here, but when we think of Tottenham Hotspur, we automatically think of them like Gareth Bale, Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Robbie Keane, Gary Lineker and David Ginola, among others.
But there are also those who, despite not being footballers, are part of the team and many don’t know them. Such is the case of Hannah South, the current social media content creator for Tottenham Hotspur.
As we mentioned earlier, Hannah South works for the team as Tottenham’s social media content manager, and she’s no stranger to the role. She has been working for the London team since 2023 in the role we mentioned, but prior to that, she worked as a digital executive for Leicester City FC from 2021 to 2023.
Hannah was recently spotted on the day of Son‘s farewell to the team, where we saw her filming the South Korean up close with a sad expression, almost in tears, as she was very close to the player. Many commented that her expression was the same as that of all the team’s fans upon seeing “Sonaldo” leave the club.

She was also there the day the boys won the UEFA Europa League, taking photos with James Maddison, Son and also with the trophy. When it comes to her personal life, she doesn’t post much beyond her work with Tottenham on Instagram. Some posts include going to the beach on vacation, her wearing a 90s retro Brazil shirt, which could suggest her being passionate about collecting football kits. There is also a chance that she might be a fan of that national team, although that can’t be confirmed or denied.
On the other hand, there are several pictures on her Instagram featuring a man named George Burford, a Senior Account Executive at Wasserman Live, who could potentially be her romantic partner. However, South is not very vocal about her romantic life on the internet, so that is something that can’t be confirmed at the moment.
There are also some posts of her playing darts in her free time. This could suggest that it is a hobby of hers, which is fairly common in England.
Besides going to the beach, she is also seen visiting NFL stadiums a few years and also engaging in music festivals, such as the famous Glastonbury Festival in 2023. There are also several pictures of her spending time with her friends in multiple activities, such as going to dinner or walking through the city of Notting Hill.
However, once she got the Tottenham job, she has been mostly keeping herself to herself, which makes a lot of sense now that she is a bit of a public figure. Most of the posts she makes not connected to the club are mostly about her vacations, with her social media accounts mainly focusing on Spurs.
Her LinkedIn profile also shows her work as Tottenham’s content creator, oftentimes sharing the posts she makes with the club’s official account on that platform. She also adds comments regarding the recent engagement of the posts.
Social media content creators usually don’t get to show their face and become known by the fans, so Hannah’s case is quite unique in that regard. It also builds a degree of community with the fans in that regard.
Therefore, it is nice to see this part of a football club getting a bit of recognition and appreciation.
