In today’s era, football content creators have become an essential part of the modern game, going beyond traditional media to connect directly with fans worldwide. Through videos, podcasts, memes, and live reactions, they make football more accessible, entertaining, and relatable.

Papa Pincus is a United Kingdom-based football content creator. He uses platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X, creating football-related content and blending humorous takes on the game with stories from his own experiences.

He is a passionate supporter of Arsenal FC and often attends matches at the Emirates Stadium in London with his family and friends. Pincus started following the club in 2011 and quickly became a big admirer of Mesut Özil, whose creativity and flair made a lasting impression on him. Over the years, his passion for Arsenal only grew stronger, with the club’s highs and lows becoming an important part of his football journey.

Papa Pincus started his footballing journey while living in the United States, when he was just 10-11 years old. He is of Jewish origin, and considers himself a British Jewish. As of now, Pincus resides in London, England, and travels to the Emirates Stadium on Arsenal matchdays.

The real name of Papa Pincus is Matthew Pincus, who is a football content creator known for his humorous takes on the game and his deep passion for Arsenal FC. In a podcast on his social media channels, he revealed the reason for naming himself Papa Pincus.

He stated, “10 years ago, 11 years ago, I was 10, and I was playing FIFA 13 in Florida. Best game of all time. And in my starter team, my ultimate team, a guy popped up who you might know today. His name is Eric Maxim Choupo-moting. And the geezer scored goals. He became a club hero. I kept him in my team the whole year and I followed his journey. I’ve seen him come through the slums of Mainz. Schalke, smashing it. Got the big move to the Prem. Brace against Man United, doing all this and that. Moved to PSG, Champions League final. Then to Bayern, scoring goals, playing with superstars. But Choupo’s dad on Instagram was called Papa Chupo. And I looked at that, and I thought, I’m going to change it. Papa Pincus. And here we are today. And that’s going to be with my name forever.”

Although publicly no information is available about Papa Pincus’s earnings, but if we analyze his engagement rate and follower count, he must be earning around £40K–£70K per year.

Before starting content creation full-time, Papa Pincus used to work as a sales and lettings negotiator at Alex Martin Commercial, which is a company related to real estate. The lad started his full-time content creation journey in 2024.

Papa Pincus has been open about his identity as a proud British Jew and what that means to him. He explains that while he supports Israel’s right to exist as a safe homeland for Jews, this does not mean he condones war, violence, or hostility toward Palestinians. Acknowledging the complexity of the conflict, Pincus makes it clear that he rejects many of the actions carried out by Israel and the IDF and instead stands for peace, love, and coexistence. He stresses that his Jewish identity is far broader than politics or geography, and that being labeled a “Zionist” should not be mistaken for supporting genocide or opposing Palestinians. At the heart of his message is a hope for a future where Israelis and Palestinians can live side by side in harmony.
