As EA Sports FC 26 continues to dominate the football gaming scene in 2025, players are constantly searching for the perfect striker to lead their attack. Whether you’re grinding Division Rivals, building your Ultimate Team, or managing a Career Mode dynasty, choosing the right striker is crucial for success. Based on current player preferences, meta trends, and community data, here are the most sought after strikers in FC 26.
Omar Marmoush: The Egyptian is one of the best starter strikers to own. He has 89 pace, 87 dribbling, 85 shot power and 86 ball control. He can also play at LW/Cam has 4 star skills and 3 star skill moves. He also has the finesse shot and technical playstyle that elevates him even more. He currently costs 38,250.

Hugo Ekitike: The Frenchman is also a great starter striker, just like Marmoush he has great pace and dribbling his 85 jumping and height also make him a great aerial target in the box. He also has the Finesse shot and technical playstyle. His French nationality allows you to make hybrids.

Ayoze Perez: The ‘Meta’ striker in the game right now, this years Ben yedder. His stats may look the same as the other two but his traits work really well with this years game mechanics and gameplay. He has False 9+ and target forward+ as well as the low driven playstyle.
If you can't afford Julian Alvarez on #FC26 why not try out Ayoze Perez 👀🔥 pic.twitter.com/NxYxw5q2fk

Marcus Rashford: Although his positioning is LM, he can play at Striker and it is this position where most players are using him. 5 star skills move for a 80 rated player is great and he can play as a Poacher+. An evolution on him that improves his shooting and dribbling will make him a very OP card. He also is great for La Liga and Prem hybrids.
Melchie Dumornay: Moving onto the more premium strikers, she is one of the best strikers in the game right now. 93 pace, 85 shooting, 94 sprint speed and 87 dribbling is what you want from your striker. False 9++ role, 4 star weak foot and 4 star skill moves is special. The front 3 of OL Lyonnes with Diani and Chawinga is ridiculous.
Currently the best trio in FC26.

Loïs Openda: The Belgian is one of the fastest players in the game, boosting 95 pace. His shooting is a bit low at 81 but you can always use an EVO to bring his shooting up. He also has a 4 star weak foot allowing you to score from a half turn, just like other meta players he has the finesse shot and low driven playstyle and he has poacher++. He is currently on the market for 36,250 while being 83 rated, this just shows the value he holds.

Iñaki Williams: Another beast of a starter player. The Ghanian just like Rashford is originally a RM but can play at striker. Like Openda his pace is impressive at 94. He has many useful playstyles, power shot, finesse shot, low driven and rapid. He is also a great aerial threat with his jumping stat at 95.
Ewa Pajor: Barcelona does not have one but two Polish goal machines. She is a great all round striker and Barca’s women team have some amazing players and helps build chem with them. Her roles are brilliant for mixing up your tactics as well, she can play as winger ++ and advanced forward ++. She also has the most meta playstyle finesse shot+.
