This card has generated significant buzz due to its excellent physical attributes, unique PlayStyles, and incredibly low cost.

Speaking about his card, he is rated 85 and has 83 pace, 87 shooting, 73 passing, 83 dribbling, 45 defending and 90 physicality.
What sets him apart is his 5 star weak foot as well as Enforcer and Low Driven Shot playstyles. Pairing his enforcer playstyle with his 90 physicality will even make the bruiser playstyle look weak after the buff.
His card is perfect for those who you use Advanced Forward ++ in their team as his 87 sprint speed, Lengthy AcceleRATE and 89 finishing suit that role well. If you add an engine chemstyle on him, he becomes even more deadly.

Should You Do the Mateta Ratings Reload SBC? The short answer is an emphatic YES, and here’s why:
Phenomenal Value: At an approximate cost of under 30k coins, completing this SBC is an absolute steal for an 85 rated card, let alone one with his stats. The pack rewards you get back might even cover a significant portion of the cost.
Meta Relevant Build: His unique, monstrous body type combined with 90 Physicality makes him a true target man and hold up striker. Defenders simply bounce off him.
Key PlayStyles: Press Proven playstyle dramatically improves his ability to hold up the ball and shields it from pressure, while Enforcer makes him a defensive threat on clearances. This combo is superb for a physical striker.
5 Star Weak Foot: This is a crucial asset, meaning he can finish reliably on either foot, regardless of the angle, which negates the impact of his 3 star Skill Moves for many players.
Fodder & Chemistry: Worst case scenario, an 85 rated Premier League French player is excellent, cheap fodder for a future, more expensive SBC. He also offers strong chemistry links to the popular French and Premier League players.
Even if you have an elite striker, Mateta is a perfect utility player, either as a late game substitute to bully tired defenders or simply as very cheap 85 rated fodder. You will not regret spending the minimal coins/fodder required for this powerhouse.
