Maximilian Kilman might be having his worst time as a footballer. So worse that his own team fans joined up with the opposition fans to boo him.
While West Ham gifted Wolves their first win of the season, West Ham fans had enough and joined the home fans in banter, booing their own player Max Kilman, who has received nothing but criticism for the majority of his days at the London stadium.
Kilman was bought in July 2024 for a fee of 40 million Euros. Incidentally, he was brought from Wolves, where he had outstanding performances. But since his move to London, Kilman has not lived up to the expectations around his price tag and consistently made errors that led to goals and defeats. West Ham fans became so disappointed that they called him out as their worst ever signing.

With the hatred towards him growing game after game, a recent incident about his shirt sale, has stirred some laughter around the Hammers twitter followers.
Martyn Hobbs, Director of the Hobbs Memorabilia, is a Bournemouth based West Ham fan, who sells autographed jerseys from players. His latest sale were signed jerseys from Kilman and Todibo. Hobbs had put up a tweet, informing about the sale, pricing Kilman’s jersey at £99 and Todibo’s at £199. What followed was unexpected and hilarious.

The fans made mockery of the sale, implying that Hobbs might pay them £99 for getting the Kilman jersey from him.

But Hobbs later uploaded a tweet, having managed to sell the shirt.

Fans were never tired of criticising Kilman, making fun of this incident as the price of the shirt is more costly than Kilman himself. Many of them backed the idea of getting paid the money for taking it, instead of spending to buy the shirt
If anyone gifted me a framed Kilman shirt I’d assume they hate me and want me dead https://t.co/AryNYmNEnv

You couldnt pay me a grand to hang a Kilman shirt on my wall https://t.co/u6rHbTqry7
— Horny Hammer (@Horny_Hammer) January 5, 2026
I wouldn't pay that for the actual players https://t.co/maXTyIK2WK

I’m not even joking, I swear Martyn’s frames are like £100-£150 so the signed shirt is actually free and he’s making a loss on the frame as well compared to what he’d normally make for the Kilman one😭😭😭😭 https://t.co/N4DSbJI3ow

@martinj591
