Meet Jack Roworth, The Eccentric Teen Journo Who Chased David Coote Outside Court

David Coote, Football YouTubers

David Coote is a known figure in the Premier League circle. The Nottingham born English man is one of the scandalous referees to ever officiate the game of football. Coote has vastly appeared as a referee in Premier League, making his top flight debut in 2018.

Aside his referee career, Coote was involved in another controversy, which has now led him to imprisonment. He had plead guilty in October, of committing an Offence of making an indecent image of a child. The judgement for the case took place yesterday at the Nottingham Crown Court.

While cameras and pens were all around Coote during his walk to the court, a nerdy journalist, made himself a standout, by self promoting his journalism. The man named Jack Roworth is identified to be an independent journalist in the city of Nottingham.

Roworth encountered Coote and went on to question him about his opinion on the current standard of Officiating in Premier League and what he has to say about his charges and allegations. Coote did not respond to either of the questions but the footage was enough for Roworth to make a name for himself.

In the video, Roworth asks Coote “What do you think of the current standard of Officiating in the premier league? Do you grant possession of Indecent images on your device?”

Born in the Bestwood area of Nottingham, Roworth establishes himself as a journalist and content creator. He maintains a YouTube channel where he uploads videos from his tours across the country and abroad. Apart from that he has a seperate section of his Nottingham Forest fandom, providing matchday vlogs.

A football fanatic in the first place, he had even appeared on Sky Sports in disguise as a Liverpool fan.

At 19 years of age, Roworth is so passionate about his job having toured multiple sections of the English Counties. He had covered a wide variety of information, also risking himself at Ukraine, during their war times with Russia.

Once, a similar incident to that of Coote’s was already engineered by Roworth, who came across former English footballer, Joey Barton, in his trial at Liverpool crown court. Barton was accused of sending gross social media posts, making offensive comments about football pundit Lucy Wood and broadcaster Jeremy Vine. When he arrived at the court for trial, Roworth interviewed him asking “Has free speech died in United Kingdom?”. Again the response from Barton was simple silence just like how Coote had ignored.

Unfortunate to his profession, he openly admitted that he suffers from alcohol addiction, which has severely caused damage to his intestines. On New year eve, he uploaded a video, listing the struggles he had to go through year, losing his home, sleeping on the streets, losing financial stability and heath due to his addiction.

He had also involved himself in a sensitive topic, relating a local council figure named Johnathan Lee, in the Iraqi abuse case, during his tour to Iraq. This enraged controversies as Lee himself responded pointing out Roworth’s wrong ethics.

When a fan acknowledged the Coote incident as Jack’s best work, age old followers of Jack reminded people of his even more controversial works, once when he set the Sheffield hotel into havoc. Jack Roworth had once vandalized the bed of the room he resided in his tour to Sheffield by excreting when he was drunk.

Jack Roworth seems to be a good guy, just unaware of his boundaries and ethics. The incidents involving him always been funny when looked from the outside, but shows that he is genuinely passionate about making a career in journalism, going through every possible hurdle. Having openly admitted about his addiction and how it spoilt his lifestyle, Roworth does seem to be honest and innocent. His efforts to become the best in the business is well highlighted in his post about his job rejection at BBC. Maybe with a good guidance, Jack can reach places where he wishes to go and is meant to be.

  1. Please delete or alter this article. Mr Roworth was not born in Newark and has never claimed to be. He was born in City Hospital around the Bestwood area of Nottingham. He was also raised around that area for the first few years of his life. Mr Roworth has stated he is giving you 28 days otherwise he will take this to the IPSO. He is fed up with the constant misinformation being spread about him online but trusts you can resolve your part. For more information please find the relevant reel on his Instagram (@jackroworth_yt).
