The Chelsea fanbase is chock-full of exciting content creators in the YouTube community – from the likes of CarefreeLewisG to Rory Jennings to George Benson and more.
Among them is also Matisse Armani.
Matisse is a popular British YouTuber and Twitch content creator who makes content on Chelsea.
The 28-year-old is based in London, and has appeared on SkySports’ Saturday Social, The Big 6ix, talkSPORT, and more are typically recorded in London.

Starting his YouTube journey in October 2020, Matisse’s channel has 155k subscribers and has garnered more than 35 million views, with an average of over 1 million views per month.
While being an entertaining character on YouTube, Matisse is quite interactive with Chelsea fans on X.
After the sacking of Enzo Maresca, the BlueCo ownership chose Liam Rosenior as the next Chelsea boss.
Rosenior, who previously played for Brighton, is the latest in the long list of players and staff that Chelsea’s new regime has taken from Brighton.
Interestingly, Rosenior is similar to Matisse in terms of looks, so the popular Chelsea YouTuber ran with it and made it his gimmick.

Since the Rosenior to Chelsea rumors started, Matisse’s comments section was filled with jokes pointing the similarity between the content creator and the former Strasbourg manager.

Matisse played into the jokes.
He altered his content on YouTube and changed his username on X to “Liam Rosenior” and started posting content as if he was the now Chelsea boss. In fact, he even shaved his entire beard to look more similar to Rosenior.
Matisse also took a tour of Chelsea’s stadium and posted photos from the press conference room, dressing room, and the Chelsea bench, with the caption “Incredibly proud to manage this great football club. Let’s get to work blues! 👍🏽🔵”.

While fans loved it initially, they have quickly grown tired of the Rosenior gimmick.
People have short attention spans, so a meme becomes annoying once it has been overplayed and past its expiration date.
Chelsea fans loved the back and forth for a week, but Matisse going all in on the stunt for interactions and making it his whole personality was eventually going to backfire.
Worst gimmick I’ve seen in a hot minute https://t.co/HEJOpaVj9t

The smart thing for Matisse to do would be to let the fans make the Rosenior jokes organically and react, instead of him making those same jokes and expecting the fans to laugh.
The online creator should do what he does best – make original content on Chelsea.
And Matisse won’t have a shortage of topics with his doppleganger taking over the reins at Stamford Bridge.
The new Chelsea boss was in attendance for Chelsea’s first game post-Maresca, but unfortunately, they succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Fulham. The Englishman has a big job on his hands if he is to bring Chelsea back to its glory days, and the work starts this weekend against Charlton in the FA Cup.
