DoorDash partnered with Zlatan Ibrahimovic for its World Cup marketing campaign, leveraging the Swedish striker’s iconic persona to promote its status as an Official Tournament Supporter.
With various teams getting knocked out from the World Cup in both the Round of 32 and 16, Zlatan has taken to the Instagram account of DoorDash to specifically send off teams through small and hilarious collection of videos.
Germany
Germany received a shock after losing to underdogs Paraguay in a disappointing state of penalties, with the result being 3-4 in pens.
Tah showed courage by stepping up to take the last and his first international penalty and ultimately missed to send the Die Nationalelf home.
Zlatan had a few words to say to the German National Team.
“Germany, it’s over. Now, you can drink sad beers”
Zlatan takes a sarcastic shot at Germany’s beer culture while stating Germany’s early exit from the World Cup.
Sweden
Being Zlatan’s home country, people assumed he would have mercy but Zlatan being Zlatan, had a few words to say as well.
Sweden faced France in their round of 32 and Les Bleus did not hold back, beating them 3-0 and had a staggering total of 25 shots.

Despite being from Sweden, Zlatan did not hold back.
Brazil

United States of America
A game filled with controversy of an overturned red card, America still lost to Belgium with 4 goals finding their way past the keeper.
Zlatan did not stop here as well :
“US is out, so your American dream is over. Next time call it football, not soccer, okay?”
Zlatan used America’s own terminology of soccer and the great American Dream to announce their exit.
Portugal
With Portugal’s hopes pinned on Ronaldo and the team, a late goal from Merino crushed any hopes of Portugal’s entry to the next round. With Nuno Mendes finding himself injured, Portugal team could not be more fractured defensively.
Zlatan made his much awaited comments too :
“Portugal. Almost. But almost is not enough”
Egypt
After a thriller match between Egypt and Argentina, Argentina did what many teams can only imagine. A solid comeback. Despite being 2-0 down, in a matter of mere 15 mins, Argentina turned out to be the glorious winners of the match.
This is where things turned interesting, no video was made but only a photo.
The photo showed supposedly Zlatan being wrapped in tapes to showcase a mummy and how Egypt was buried deep into the ground.
DoorDash has still not put any post about Colombia’s exit after loss to Switzerland.
