Jules Kounde Turns Vacation into Fashion Show with £2,750 Jacket and Tyson Throwback Tee

Jules Koundé has been spotted soaking up the off-season in Jamaica in some serious style.

The French defender recently shared some moments from his ongoing trip to Jamaica and nearby nations on his Instagram profile, and let’s just say that from sleek fits to bold vacation vibes, the man’s turning every step into a runway.

Kounde suffered a distal hamstring injury during the first leg of Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan on April 30, 2025, forcing him off around the 42nd minute.

Add that to the fact that Barcelona did not qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup, and that meant that Kounde could get some much-needed break from the pitch.

The break is much needed for him because just before his injury at the end of April, in the game against Real Betis in the La Liga, he had completed 100 consecutive appearances for club and country, suggesting a crazy amount of workload and fixture overload on him.

The defender was seen describing the importance of this break, but at the same time criticising the Club World Cup by stating,

It’s so great to be on vacation… it’s July 4, 2025, and they’re still playing…

Kounde visited places like the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston, Jamaica, and recently shared a photo dump of his ongoing trip to Jamaica, Greece, and other places from mid‑June 2025.

The French fullback was seen donning a Dolce & Gabbana Black Button Embellished Military Jacket, which is priced at £2,750.03 on designer outlets like Visamoda.

In other images, the defender was seen wearing a yellow Awake NY Sport Jersey SS Top, which is priced at £105.70 on Footshop & £136.60 on platforms like Farfetch.

He was also wearing the traditional Jamaican Jacobson hat along with this jersey.

Across the streets of Jamaica, the Frenchman was also seen wearing the Adidas Originals Y-3 Country Black & White shoes as well, which are priced at £259 on the official Adidas website.

Kounde additionally showed off his vintage collection in an image where he is wearing the Rare Vintage Adidas London Olympic Games Sweatshirt Size XL from the 1908 edition at the Naxos airport in Greece.

It is priced at £133.19 on resale sites like eBay and also at £175.27 on Etsy.

He was pairing this jacket with the Salomon-Acs Pro Advanced (Metal Ghost Silver Metallic Color) shoes, which are valued at £101.79 on The Distance Store.

It is also available for £155.82 on the official site.

Further showing off his vintage collection, the Frenchman was seen wearing the official T-shirt from the 90s Holyfield vs. Mike Tyson WBA Championship Boxing Match that happened in 1997.

It is priced at £273 on Etsy.

The French No. 5 was also seen wearing the Second Layer Indio Short White Shirt by Boys Don’t Cry Paris (BDC), which is priced at £511.23 on the official website.

With the shirt, the defender was also donning the White Adidas Taekwondo F50 Shoes, valued at £94.44 on the official store website.

In terms of his streetwear gear, in another image, the fullback was seen wearing the Black Supreme Bandana Football Jersey, which is valued at £496.62 on sites like Farfetch.

It is also priced lowly on resale sites like StockX at £124.91.

Along with this, the defender was wearing the Black Adidas New Men’s Originals Firebird Track Pant, which is priced at £34.99 on eBay.

And to finish it off in terms of shoes, he was wearing the Y-3 WHITE Sneakers A3 Control, which are priced at £241.70 on platforms like Vitkac.

In other news, the defender was also seen wearing a customized grey co-ord set for the Adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria SS26 event as well.

Jules Kounde played a whopping 53 games and 4423 minutes for Barcelona alone, scoring 4 goals and 8 assists, signifying his importance but also his jarring workload.

As Barcelona play Vissel Kobe most recently on the 27th of July in their first preseason game at Misaki Park Stadium in Japan, fans would hope that the defender is recharged and fully recovered and back to fitness after an overdue trip to Jamaica.

This would do wonders for their chances to potentially defend their La Liga title and also potentially challenge for the UEFA Champions League trophy that they missed out on last season.
