Which Current Aston Villa Players Have Children?

In recent years, Aston Villa FC has once again become one of the most outstanding teams in the English Premier League. This is due largely to the team’s excellent management and also to the arrival of Spaniard Unai Emery as manager, who is considered one of the best in the world in his position thanks to his tactical approach and personality. The club’s recent success has led to the arrival of many notable players to join the team, and they currently have a squad that could give many other teams, not only in England but around the world, a challenge.

Aston Villa FC, despite their relegations, is a historic team in England. Their trophy cabinet includes seven First Division titles, seven FA Cups, and one European Cup, now better known as the UEFA Champions League, which they won in 1982. Throughout the years, this team has seen the passing of historic players who have marked a before and after in English football. It’s also worth noting that many of the squad are fathers; they already have children. Let’s begin with one of the best goalkeepers in the world currently: Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez. “Dibu” is the starting goalkeeper for both Aston Villa FC and the Argentine national team. The goalkeeper, an expert in penalty saves and football psychology, is also a father of two children: Santi and Ava.

Ollie Watkins, one of the world’s most underrated strikers, known for his work ethic, speed, and finishing, is also a father. Watkins has two children: Amber, born in September 2021, and Marley, born in April 2023.
