Can Estevao Speak English or Not? Here’s What We Have Found Out

Chelsea, Estevao

The young footballer Estevao, born on April 24, 2007, is considered one of the best young players in the world. He demonstrated this with Palmeiras, and now he will have to prove it with Chelsea FC. He has already begun to demonstrate his quality in England, and although he has yet to score a goal in the Premier League, the fans and followers of the London team are happy with what he has shown so far, although he already scored his first goal as a Blue in the pre-season friendly match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen, which is good to be fair.

Estevao’s arrival at Chelsea FC cost around 34 million euros, which is a fair price for someone with a very bright future ahead of him. The Brazilian was nicknamed “Messinho” due to his playing style similar to that of the man widely considered the greatest footballer of all time. Of course, he’s still young; he is only 18 years old, so he still has a lot to learn. And outside of football, he also has something to learn, and that is, according to many Chelsea FC fans, his English, which is normal since he just arrived in England.

Chelsea FC recently uploaded a video featuring Estevao alongside Chelsea’s new No. 9, Liam Delap. In the video, they ask the pair their one-word thoughts on the team’s third kit. While Delap says, “Top,” Estevao innocently replies, “Very Beautiful.” Delap laughs and says, “That’s two words, bro,” before they both share a laugh as very good friends. And while Esteveao looks a little bit ashamed, he still looks happy.

Many English fans took this video with humor, saying that Estevao didn’t understand anything he was told.

But despite his poor English, he clearly feels loved and at the club, which is the most important thing.

But despite his inability to understand what Delap said in the video, there is no doubt that willingness from Estevao to learn English language. He has been caught speaking English before. Some of the videos where he is seen speaking English have recently resurfaced because of the aforementioned situation.

There’s another video from his time as a Palmeiras player in which he’s seen practicing English with another team member, suggesting that he’s been practicing it ever since he knew he’d be joining Chelsea FC.

Both Chelsea fans and we hope the Brazilian can improve and perfect his English. Of course, he’s just arriving in England, so it’s normal to see him like this, but he knows how important it will be for him to learn to speak English. Estevao is an excellent player, and as long as he can improve both as a footballer and as a person, that’s all that matters to the Blues.
