As we all know by now, the Ultimate Team matches often go down to the wire. But for beginners and amateurs, playing with thousands of coins and tokens could be a tall ask. Therefore, getting a solid frontman or frontwoman is extremely important for players to maintain leads and keep striving. While names like Moise Kean (86 Pace) are an automatic yes when it comes to building an ultimate team, cheap young players like Hojlund (85 Pace) and Endrick (87 Pace) could also be very valuable, especially as pacey subs.
Over the years, Three attributes have mattered the most when attacking on FIFA or EA FC. Pace, Strength and Shooting. Historically, players like Daniel James, Anthony Martial, Adama Traore have therefore been sold like hot cakes due to their infallible pace. Although a Marcus Thuram promises strength, tactical flexibility and excellent finishing, he is cheaper than Marcus Rashford despite being rated +5 overall, due to lower pace.

In the given table, players like Ewa Pajor are extremely sensible MVP picks due to their relatively lower cost and a flurry of positive attributes. An 88 rated Striker/Cam can change your game for a mere 15,750 coins. Crowd favourite Sam Kerr also makes the list due to her smooth ball control and retention skills.
If you are someone comfortable with the 4-2-3-1 formation and play with a solo frontman, a decent-to-good CAM (let’s say someone with 80+ long pass) can supply a very decent but highly paced striker like Kolo Muani or Lookman to outrun defences in the last minute. Or, if you want to play more into possession football with your 4-3-3 and you 3-4-3, a strong frontman like Thuram or Schick will be important for their immense hold-up play. Of course, a wild Pedro Neto or Federico Chiesa can come in with good dribbling stats to combat defenders and fool them with skill moves.
Strikers like Barbra Banda and Lea Schuller are way too OP and are very cheap compared to their statistics.
