Meet the Teen Tennis Star Who Looks Exactly Like Lamine Yamal

Lamine Yamal

Earlier last week, a budding tennis prodigy from the USA made headlines. He was in the newspapers as he had become just the second tennis player born in 2010 to earn an ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) point, marking a significant milestone in his professional tennis career.

His name is Jordan Lee. He was born on May 4, 2010, which, as of 2025, makes him just 15 years old and he has already made the headlines. He has also been listed as a junior player on the ITF (International Tennis Federation) website.

But, simultaneously, he also made headlines for looking exactly similar to an upcoming generational talent from a completely different field, Lamine Yamal.

Their facial characteristics look very identical, the smile is also very similar and coincidentally, both of them have braces too.

The eyes give an unmatched look and the jawline just tops it off with those sharp and chiselled features.

Fans instantly drew up the conclusion of him being the doppelganger of Lamine Yamal. They even started to call Lee, Lamine’s long lost twin. But rest assured, they are not related in any way or form.

According to reports, Jordan Lee belongs from Orlando, Florida as he trains at the USTA (United States Tennis Association) National Campus which is based out of Lake Nona and he is currently being coached by his mother, Tina Lee, who is also a head professional at the High Performance Academy of the USTA National Campus itself.

Whereas Yamal, who was born in Esplugues de Llobregat, in the Barcelona metropolitan area in Catalonia, Spain, is actually of a Moroccan and Equatorial Guinean descent.

His father, Mounir Nasraoui, is from Morocco and his mother, Sheila Ebana, hails from Equatorial Guinea.

According to reports, he (Yamal’s father) had moved to Spain with his mother (Lamine Yamal’s paternal grandmother) when he was nine years old and got settled in the Mataro/Barcelona region of Catalonia. He eventually met Lamine’s present day mother after the two had moved to Spain.

Safe to say, Jordan Lee and Lamine Yamal might look similar appearance-wise but have no connection at all besides being sports personalities.
