Erling Haaland, while famous for being a robotic freak of nature on the football field, is popular for being one of the most authentic and entertaining personalities off the pitch.
In an era where every answer has to be PR-approved, Haaland is unapologetically himself. He is extremely active on social media, often bantering with fans on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and other platforms.
Haaland even created a YouTube account in September and started posting vlogs about his personal life. In one of the most popular videos, he went around Manchester dressed as the Joker during Halloween and pranked people.
His Snapchat account is extremely entertaining as well. Haaland often posts behind-the-scenes clips and snaps with witty captions, giving fans a glimpse into the life of a footballer during matchdays.

Recently, he was interacting with fans on Snapchat and answering questions. One of the fans asked him, “What do you want for Christmas erling”
Most people would have expected Haaland, the most goal-hungry striker who is always chasing perfection and more trophies, to answer “more goals” or “more trophies” or something along those lines.
However, Haaland’s answer shocked everyone and reiterated why he is one of the most beloved footballers in the world.
To the question what he wanted for Christmas, Haaland answered “Peace on earth”.

Football Twitter was absolutely loving the response and showering Haaland with praise. In an extremely rare instance, the most toxic social media platform witnessed nothing but positivity as everyone had only positive things to say about Haaland.
