Man United Fan Frank Illett Unveils Shocking New Hair Transformation

Manchester United

Winning five games in a row is a partial achievement for any top team. Although difficult, it is not impossible. If given the cushion of considering all competitions for the streak, it is more appealing than having to do it in the league. Yet, it has been a mountain peak, that Manchester United have not been able to attain.

The last time United won five games in a row was back in February 2024 under Erik Ten hag. It is sad to say that Ruben Amorim, however attempts rebuilding the lost glory, has not been able to sustain success.

The context becomes more important because, United had the additional responsibility of helping, Frank Illett, “The United Strand”, cut his hair. The English United fan, had taken up a challenge on 5th October 2024, that he would not trim his hair before United win 5 games in a row.

On October 5th of 2025, Illett shared the vlog of Day:365, marking one year of his challenge and United’s inability to provide consistent results.

Currently, he is on a day count of 455, still hoping to complete his challenge. Illett had expressed that it is getting tougher day by day to manage his hair.

I’ve had a lot of ups and downs, and the thing is, the sheer amount of it takes so much out of my time. The washing, the brushing, the drying, everything takes so much longer than I’m used to

His bizarre challenge associating his football team, earned him a television appearance, where he was given a temporary solution to get out of his daily hair maintenance struggles.

Illet had been invited to be a part of “The Last Leg” tv show, where the guest had voted to restyle his hair by straightening. He had shared a reel on his Instagram account about his straightening session where three professionals had to be involved to straighten his hair properly.

The result in terms of hair condition, was definitely something positive for Illett, contrary to how big and unadjustable his untrimmed frizzy hair was. The straightened hair appeared smooth and silky, and more easy to manage.

I don’t hate this guy like others do, actually think it’s a funny reminder of how s**t we are. However, it has tricked everyone into thinking Ww aren’t improving because of this gimmick. We aren’t close to where we should be, but it is a bit better right now

@Beratorrrr
Really embracing the discord mod look

@TM0rgz7
This guy is trying to make something that’s extremely difficult seem easy, to “kick a man while he’s down”. Only 3 teams have won 5 in a row out of 20🤣. Unnecessary clout chasing ! Bad as the journalists

@ModeloMoh
United deadass can’t even fight for a guy to get a haircut how they supposed to fight for the title?

@mykved
Amorim is the reason he’s doing this btw

@waseemzzzzzz
It’s dawning finally on people that all this is a gimmick to become popular. He could do a pony and don a samurai look but no, has to look like a buffoon

@nuhan_666
imagine being blessed with so much hair yet styling it this bad

@Cephas_me
Amorim fans said his 5 game win run ask is putting pressure on Amorim and what’s why we can’t go on a winning run 😭😭. They literally blamed that guy
