No, The QPR Tattoo Does Not Make Central Cee a Fake Chelsea Fan

Central Cee, Chelsea, Famous Football Fans, QPR

English rap artist Central Cee is on the rise and one of the main source for his energy as revealed by him, has been Chelsea FC, to an extent.

He recorded his music video for the track “Straight back to it” showcasing Stamford Bridge. But a corridor of uncertainty has opened over his alleged fandom.

Central Cee has publicly admitted his support of Chelsea. He has been present at the Stamford Bridge on numerous occasions, and has a famous photo of posing with Ben Chilwell during one of their games.

In a new Interview with the Chelsea media, he has revealed that his family too supports Chelsea, so it is an automatic choice for him to be a Chelsea fan.

But a twist to this narrative came when fans noticed in an old photo that showed Central Cee associating himself with one of the clubs Chelsea don’t look eye to eye.

The associated club, Queen’s Park Rangers and Chelsea have an under-noticed rivalry. They are part of one of the four West London Derbies, that include Chelsea, Fulham, Brentford, and QPR.

Echoing the Queen’s Park Rangers supporters, who consider Chelsea as their biggest rivals, Central Cee having a tattoo of their logo must bring some shock and discomfort, on whether Central Cee is truly a part of the Blues

Although QPR are based from the Shepherd Bush region of London, the place where Central Cee was born and raised, the real reason for the imprint is something personal and emotional.

The tattoo is a tribute to his long-time friend, Fernando Johnson, who was murdered in 2023.

Fernando had played for the QPR as a youngster. Without his presence, the QPR logo holds the memory of his friend in Central Cee’s life.

Central Cee has also been caught wearing jerseys from other clubs, which supports the uncertainty over his Chelsea fandom. He has been seen in Arsenal and Liverpool jerseys, two teams who are direct rivals to Chelsea in terms of the competition.

Central Cee has also been spotted with Bukayo Saka, Arsenal’s own starboy. But the meeting was outside football in a casual fashion show encounter.

But with the amount of appearances he makes in Chelsea merchandise and Chelsea related promotion, it is clear that Central Cee bleeds blue, and let’s make sure that having another club’s logo as a tribute to your late friend does not make one disloyal to the club they support.
