Chelsea and Nike have released a new apparel range that extends the club’s 1990s-inspired football aesthetic beyond the recently launched third kit. The white 2026/27 third kit was unveiled earlier this month, while today’s release focuses on additional pieces led by a Rush Blue long-sleeve jersey and an i96 track jacket.
Energy Long Sleeve Jersey
The main product is the Chelsea Nike Energy Long Sleeve Jersey in Rush Blue. The jersey features a blue colourway, a relaxed fit and long sleeves, giving it a clear retro direction without presenting it as another version of the match-day third shirt.
Chelsea’s official store lists an overlapped V-neck, the club crest and Nike sweat-wicking technology among the product’s details. It is made from 100 per cent polyester. The second main product is the Chelsea Nike i96 Repel Track Jacket in White. The jacket brings an outerwear option to the release and uses a white colourway alongside the Rush Blue jersey.The i96 name connects the jacket to Nike’s retro football-inspired trackwear line. The range also appears to include the Chelsea Nike Strike Training Shorts in Rush Blue. Chelsea’s official store lists the shorts as a new arrival at US$67. The product is separate from the white third-kit shorts and belongs to the wider Nike training and apparel selection.
The shorts are particularly noticeable for the Chelsea branding in red. That detail adds contrast to the Rush Blue base and links the item visually to the red accents used across the wider retro-inspired release. Because the official listing identifies them as Strike Training Shorts, they should not be described as the third-kit match shorts.
